Harambee Starlets Climb In the Latest FIFA Rankings

The Kenya national women football team harambee Starlets have climbed from position 148 to 147 in the latest FIFA rankings released on June 17th.

Starlets have not played any match recently due to the ongoing wrangles in Kenyan football. They had a good chance of making it to the 2022 African Women Cup of nations but were disqualified due to FKF's suspension by FIFA.

Fraser-Pryce Equals 100m World Record
Jamaican sprinter Shelly Anne Fraser-Pryce won the 100m race at the Meeting de Paris in scintillating fashion. The thirty five year old clocked 10.67 to equal the world leading mark which she set on 7 May in Nairobi, Kenya.
Britain`s Daryll Neita and Ivory Coast's Marie Ta Lou finished second and third respectively. The latter clocked 11.01 while Neita crossed the finishing line in 10.99.

Fraser-Pryce aims to defend her 100m title at the upcoming World Athletics Championships slated for July 15-24 in Oregon, United States.

Uweza Women and Eldoret Falcons picked vital points in the Football Kenya Federation Women Division One League on Sunday as Kibera Soccer Ladies forced a 1-1 draw on Mathare United Women at MYSA Komarock grounds.

Eldoret Falcons thrashed Vihiga Leeds 2-0 while Uweza grabbed a comfortable 4-0 win away to Mukuru Talent.
