In South Africa, a female falcon was fitted with a satellite tracking system before embarking on a migration to Finland. The tracker data highlights its extraordinary journey, covering over 10,000 km in just 42 days at an impressive average speed of 230 km per day. What's truly remarkable is its ability to maintain a straight path across the continent, making a slight deviation only when flying over water – turning right at the Nile River Delta and following the river's course to the Mediterranean. Nature's wonders never cease to amaze.

Ethiopia is also the fourth largest beeswax producer in the world after China, Turkey and Argentina.

Ethiopia’s honey is known for its desirable qualities such as low moisture content and a variety of natural & delicious flavors.

Ethiopia is also the continent's leading producer and exporter of beeswax and honey. The country has approximately 7 million bee colonies. Generally beekeeping is an old agricultural practice in Ethiopia. About one million households are involved in honeybee's business. It is promising off-farm enterprise, which contributes to country's economy.
