Record of the Month for March 2021 is taken home by Raru & Cheise - UNK16. A stellar 4 track EP which takes us in spirit, instantly back to those bustling dance floors we are all missing so much.

This record was an instant hit with us, the track ‘Come on’ being the stand-out number. The track builds with spacey, hypnotic grooves and a rolling bassline. The two producers provide proof of how a short and simple vocal sample, can have such a profound effect on a record – We absolutely can not get enough of this one.

Rising star Alffie also featured, providing a deep and slamming rendition of ‘Come On’ with colourful ear-catching riffs. The remix is flipped into a more powerful and driven peak-time bumper. We have been keeping a close eye on Alffie’s work, since his track ‘Noon Prescriptions’ for the ‘Food for Ibiza’ campaign EP caught our attention. This one is securely in our record bag.
