🇺🇸 Skaldr signs to Avantgarde Music!

Skaldr is an American black metal band born in 2017 in Virginia. Comprised of experienced musicians offering their first representation in the heavier aspects of music, the group joined together to explore shared interests in the darker elements of expression. Weaving inspiration from the likes of Dawn, Dissection, Windir and traditional folk music into their musical tapestry, Skaldr treads upon narrow pathways carved between beauty and brutality, calling back to the rare early era of melodic black metal with their captivating, furious and emotionally gripping spirit.

Continuing with the melodious gloom of their debut album, Scythe of Our Errors, Skaldr beckons from the darkness once more with their sophomore record, Saṃsṛ, which will be released via Avantgarde Music in early 2025. The first single, “The Crossing”, can now be streamed exclusively via Avantgarde Music YouTube channel, while all further relevant information and preorders will be disclosed in due time.

You left us speechless. What an amazing weekend it was! We will remember this forever in our black hearts 🖤

Our Latin American debut was absolutely incredible!

First of all, thanks to Spider Prod for believing in us in the first place and booking us to CL.ROCK!

Huge thanks to Chamuco, Rock Bar Xperience / RBX, and KLANDESTINO INC for helping us arrange the concerts at RBX and Sala Metrónomo.

Huge salute to MH Aerografia, Darkshop 3D, and Dreimoon Store for helping us arrange our merchandise.

We would also like to thank our tour manager Macarena for taking care of us during our stay in Santiago!

And most of all, we want to thank all of you who came to see our concerts. You made our rituals truly magical! We hope that we can return as soon as possible.

For us, it is time to return to Sweden, and Heljarmadr is returning to the USA to resume the tour with Dark Funeral.

The next concert for Grá is in Jönköping 🇸🇪, February 15.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our performance at EXTREME DIVISION V in Palma de Mallorca such an amazing experience. A huge thank you to Deathlight Music Events for organizing such a great event and to Es Gremi Centre Musical for providing an amazing venue. A special mention to Tom Eu, whose tireless efforts made this one of the best experiences we've had as a band so far. His dedication and hard work truly made all the difference, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did to make our performance possible. We also want to extend our thanks to the entire staff for their support and professionalism throughout the event. A special shout-out to Samuel Morales, our sound engineer, for his excellent work and dedication, which ensured our performance sounded its best. We also want to thank Norsemen for generously lending us equipment. To all the bands, thank you for the great interaction and the incredible atmosphere. Happy second anniversary to REMINA's debut album, "Strata"!

🪐🎉 Happy 2 Year Anniversary to STRATA 🎉🪐

It's been a crazy couple of years since we released our debut album. We are incredibly appreciative of how much positive feedback and support we've had since it's release. In a time when albums are forgotten so quickly after release, it means a lot to see people still enjoying it all this time later. Also a special thanks to our label Avantgarde Music for all they've done (and continue to do) for us.

When we created the band we never really planned to play live, but somehow we ended up playing the album front to back at three amazing festivals last year in Germany, Romania, and Italy. We gathered together some of our closest friends for the live lineup, and we met so many amazing people along the way.

We owe a lot to this album, which led to some beautiful memories we'll never forget and many more to come.

We're finishing up our new album as we speak; currently completing final drum tracking before polishing it all up and handing it over to Avantgarde for a release early next year sometime. In the meantime you can check out the Erebus EP that we released in June, consisting of two songs cut from the new album as well as a bonus extra track.

Todestrieb is a Polish black metal duo formed in 2023 in Cracow by blein (guitars and bass) and Res (vocals and lyrics). After several months of hard work, the duo completed their debut studio record, Corona Tenebra, which will be released in December by Avantgarde Music.

Featuring Mgła, Hauntologist and Owls Woods Graves’ Michał “The Fall” Stępień on drums, Todestrieb debut is a very diverse, fascinating take on black metal. Corona Tenebra was recorded in No Solace studio and mixed and mastered at Impressive Art Studio.

With an artwork by Izabela Grabda, Corona Tenebra will be released via Avantgarde Music on CD, LP and digital on December 13th, 2024. Preorders are now available via Sound Cave and Bandcamp.

By now Mesarthim needs no introduction: the anonymous duo going by . and . originated in Australia in 2015, but has long since left planet Earth to reach the farthest galaxies. With this latest output, Avantgarde Music wants to bring together the two latest stand-alonge singles released by the duo, which haven’t found any distribution outside of the band’s own Bandcamp yet. The result is a 38-minute release that perfectly shows the most recent wanderings of the band.
