After Years Macdamization of Sofipora Hydergund road has been started which was a long pending Demand.
The locals said This road will ease our problems which we had faced during traveling on this road
While talking with the locals the said we are thankful to ex Mla Aijaz Ahmad Mir who made it possible. It was our dream which came true today after his repeated interventions.
It is pretent to mention here that this road was sanctioned in 2017-2018 under CRF project.
The Macdamization of this road brings joy among residents.

Man found hanging in rented Room in aamno Kulgam
Kulgam Feb 27:Man found hanging in rented Room in aamno Kulgam identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Dar (47) son of Sona-Ullah Dar, a resident of D K Marg Kulgam was found hanging in rented accommodation in Amnoo village.
He said that the man was working in a private company. A police officer said that it is premature to say whether it is suicide or murder,
However, investigation in this regard has been taken up
Director Agriculture Kashmir visits Shopian
Shopian, 09-Feb: The Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal today visited Seed Multiplication Farm Allowpora Shopian and took stock of the Progress on the implementation of different programs in the Farm. He visited different sections of the Farm spread over an area of almost 1100 Kanal and reviewed the various interventions adopted there.
Speaking on the occasion Director Agriculture said that the departmental farms are the assets with the department and have an inevitable role to play amid the changing global agriculture scenario. Our immediate goal is to achieve the self-reliance in seed requirement of different Agricultural crops in the region and the departmental seed Multiplication Farms are the main resources to reach this ambitious goal, he added.
Chowdhary Iqbal said that the Agriculture Department is working on a road map under the guidance of Principal Secretary AP&FWD Shri Navin Kumar Chowdhary. A Memorandum of Understanding with the National Seeds Corporation is likely to be executed so that all the potential and scope of these departmental farms and other related Infrastructure could be channelized in aproper manner.
Director Agriculture asked the concerned officers/ the technical experts to work on a mission mode so that all the set targets for the current year could
