Municipal Committee Tangmarg constructed two toilet/washroom complexes in Tangmarg. One of which is in Floriculture Park near SDH Hospital. But unfortunately that got blocked within first 15th months and isn't functional now.
The Administration is requested to make the washrooms functional for the ease of public.

Handwara,Mar,29 :Handwara Media Association (HMA) mourns the sad demise of Ghulam Hassan Pandith, father of former BDC Chairman Langate, Showkat Hussain Pandith, resident of Cheki Wahipora Langate.Pandith passed away today evening after a brief illness at his residence.

In a condolence message, HMA extends heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the entire Pandith family on the loss of their beloved father.

Ruheena Shahzad expresses sorrow over the Ramban accident.

Srinagar, 29 March.

Ruheena Shahzad , BJP Vice President District Ganderbal today expressed her deepest condolences following the tragic accident in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir, which has left 10 people dead and several others injured.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of life in this tragic accident,” said Ruheena Shahzad. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this difficult time.” Ruheena Shahzad also extended her best wishes for a speedy recovery to those who were injured in the accident. “We hope that they will find the strength to overcome this tragedy and heal quickly,” she added.

Ruheena Shahzad also expressed her gratitude to PM Narendra Modi for announcing ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 to those who are injured.

*ADC Handwara distributed machinery among farmers*

Handwara, March 27: In a bid to boost agricultural practices in sub-district Handwara, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather spearheaded the distribution of essential farm machinery to local farmers. The distribution took place at the office of the Chief Horticulture Officer in Handwara.
The farming tools, which included tractors among other equipment, were handed over to farmers hailing from various areas within the district. ADC highlighted the significance of these machinery upgrades, highlighting how they would contribute to enhancing cultivation practices.
Addressing the farmers during the distribution, ADC underscored the pivotal role of modern machinery in agricultural endeavors. He urged horticulture officials to extend unwavering support to farmers, ensuring that they receive every possible assistance in their agricultural pursuits.
The machinery distribution event witnessed the participation of officials from Gul Bahar Fruit Cooperative Ltd Turkpora. This distribution falls under the purview of the "Development of Rainfed Area (HADP)" scheme, aimed at bolstering agricultural activities in the region.
Moreover, the ADC underscored the multifaceted benefits of such initiatives. He stressed how the provision of modern machinery not only aids in improving agricultural productivity but also serves as a catalyst for employment generation within the farming community.
During the distribution program, Chief Horticulture Officer Handwara, Muneer Ahmad and several other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

*ADC Handwara reviews dismantling of old hospital buildings*

Handwara,March 27:
Additional Deputy Commissioner(ADC),Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather took charge of overseeing the dismantling of an old building at the District Hospital Handwara on Wednesday.

Accompanied by Tehsildar Handwara, Zeeshan Khan, Executive Engineer R&B Farooq Ahmad, and officials from the District Hospital Handwara, the ADC meticulously reviewed the process of dismantling.

The ADC serves as the head of the committee formed by the District Administration specifically tasked with the dismantling of four existing buildings within the hospital premises.

During the inspection, he stressed the importance of ensuring that no patient suffers or goes unattended during this critical process.

Furthermore, the ADC delved into the final plans for the construction of a new building within the hospital premises. Expressing urgency, he directed the hospital administration and concerned officials to expedite the construction process to ensure its completion at the earliest possible time.

Bilqees Aara has earned the distinction of being called as "Blood Woman” of Kashmir as he has donated 35 pints of blood from 2012 to 2024.
Bilqees while talking to Kashmir News Trust said, “Blood donation is not my profession. I am a Acredated Aasha worker but donating blood on a voluntary basis is my passion. Our religion teaches us that saving one life is equivalent to saving the entire universe.”
Recalling the time when he first donated the blood, Bilqees said, “One of my relative had sustained injuries and she was in immediate need of blood. I volunteered and saved her life. That was a turning point in my life as on that day I took a pledge to help the people who need blood at crucial times. And I have kept up the promise that I had made to myself.”
The Kashmir’s Blood Woman said, “From 2012 till 2024, people who needed blood used to give advertisements in newspapers or make an announcement through Radio and TV. But after the advent of the internet the time changed as the flow of information became rapid and fast paced. Now, people who need blood reach out to donors through social media within no time. People getting connected has helped in saving many precious lives.”
However, Bilqees expressed dismay over the government not recognizing the contribution of donors like her.
Bilqees said, “If the government wants the culture of blood donation to continue in Kashmir then it should encourage the volunteers by devising some special schemes for them like providing them with an insurance cover and ration cards.”
Asked about his diet, Bilqees said, “I come from a Middle class family and cannot afford expensive food items like dry fruits and other protein rich foods.
Bilqees said that she donates blood from every 3 Months and has never felt any deficiency. “Blood donation makes no one

آج ترگاٸں بدھل میں آل انڈیا بیکوڈ کلاسسز یونین کا ایک اجلاس ریٹائرڈ لکچرر اور جوائنٹ سکریٹری AIBCU کالا خان کی صدارت میں منعقد ہوا جس میں پیرپنچال کے صدر محمد منیر مغل مہمان خصوصی تھے۔
میٹنگ میں ممبران کی ایک بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی جس میں او بی سی کے لیے 27 فیصد واجب ریزرویشن اور جموں و کشمیر اسمبلی میں سیاسی ریزرویشن کے معاملے پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
تمام مقررین اور شرکاء نے او بی سی برادری کے ارکان سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ بی جے پی نے او بی سی برادری کے خلاف جو پالیسی اختیار کی ہے وہ نہ صرف قابل مذمت ہے بلکہ ناقابل برداشت ہے۔ مقررین نے کہا کہ بی جے پی حکومت نے جان بوجھ کر کچھ قابل اعتراض گروہوں اور ذاتوں کو فہرست میں شامل کیا ہے اور یہ او بی سی زمرہ کے لوگوں کے ساتھ ناانصافی کرنے کی ایک بڑی سازش ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جموں و کشمیر میں او بی سی کمیونٹی کو صرف آٹھ فیصد ریزرویشن دینا اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ بی جے پی او بی سی کمیونٹی کو تباہ کرنا چاہتی ہے۔
مقررین نے حکومت کے اس مجرمانہ اقدام کی مذمت کی۔اس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ حکومت نے او بی سی کو ریزرویشن دینے کے لیے یو بی ایل (اربن لوکل باڈیز) کا بل پاس کیا ہے، لیکن اس بل میں او بی سی کے لیے کوئی خاص پالیسی نہیں بتائی گئی ہے۔ جو جموں و کشمیر میں او بی سی کمیونٹی کے ساتھ ایک اور دھوکہ لگتا ہے۔
مقررین نے کہا کہ جب ریزرویشن کے تصور کو قبول کر لیا گیا ہے تو پھر دیگر سیاسی میدانوں میں او بی سی زمرہ کے لیے ریزرویشن کیوں نہیں؟ مقررین نے جموں و کشمیر اسمبلی میں ریزرویشن کا بھی مطالبہ کیا اور کہا کہ یہ او بی سی برادری کا آئینی حق ہے اور انہیں یہ حق بلا تاخیر ملنا چاہیے۔

تمام شرکاء نے او بی سی برادری سے اپیل کی کہ وہ ہندوستانی آئین، جمہوریت اور پورے ملک کے تحفظ کے لیے اپنے قیمتی ووٹ دینے کا عہد کریں۔
نیز، او بی سی کمیونٹی ووٹ کا استعمال اپنی فلاح و بہبود، اپنے بچوں کی فلاح و بہبود اور اپنی آنے والی نسلوں کی بھلائی کے لیے کرے گی تاکہ وہ غدار سیاسی جماعتوں کا ساتھ نہ دیں۔
اس کے علاوہ ترگاٸں گاوں کے لیے ایک کمیٹی بنائی گئی اور لیاقت علی مغل کو اس کا صدر منتخب کیا گیا جبکہ محمد شبیر مغل ناٸب صدر، محمد شال سیکریٹری، عبدل قیوم جوٸنٹ سیکریٹری، محمد رفیع آرگنایزر، محمد فاروق کنوینیر، محمد شکیل پبلیسیٹی سیکریٹری اور شمش دین کو ممبرسیکریٹری منتخب کیا گیا۔
دیگر اہم شخصیات جنہوں نے اپنے خیالات کو بھرپور انداز میں پیش کیا ان میں ریٹاٸرڈ زونل ایجوکیشن آفیسر محمد رشید، ریٹاٸرڈ ماسٹر مولانا شبیر قادری، اشفاق احمد لوہار جنرل سیکرٹری AIBCU شامل ہیں۔
