Jammu, Nov 01: The disciplinary committee of Jammu and Kashmir BJP unit has asked the former MLC from Jammu, Vikram Randhawa to explain his position within 48 hours and has been asked to tender public apology ofer his “derogatory and hate speech” against a particular community.

SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 13: The District Administration Shopian, under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC), Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today resumed the Block Diwas (Public Outreach Programme) at Imamsahib Shopian.
The camp was attended by a large number of local people from the adjacent villages besides civil society members and prominent citizens of the area who raised their issues and demands before the chair.
The demands raised by the visiting people included repairs of roads, replacing damaged electric poles and street lights, portable drinking water supply, uninterrupted power supply, lady doctor for NTPHC, Imamsahib etc.
The DDC heard the issues and demands of the public patiently and assured for redressal of grievances of public importance.
He directed SDM and Tehsildar Imamsahib for close coordination to ensure prompt delivery of essential services and also issued on spot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of genuine demands and grievances of public importance.
He impressed upon all the officers of line departments to work with dedication, zeal and zest and leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the demands and issues of the general masses and said that no laxity of any kind will be tolerated in this regard as the people have great expectations with the Government.
Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Shopian, SDM, Zainapora, ACD Shopian, Tehsildar, Imamsahib, AEE's and other concerned officers of line departments were present during the event.

Handwara, October 13: Burglars broke into the house of Manzoor Kirmani's house in north Kashmir’s handwara and decamped with cash and gold.
The incident occurred during the intervening night of October 11 and 12 in Handwara.
The victim nayeem Ahmad shah while talking to APINEWS told that burglars entered into the house on Sunday late evening when our hole family was busy in a marriage ceremony of our one relative in handwara.
The victim family registered a complaint at police station Handwara.
Taking cognizance of the incident, police registered a formal case in this regard.
Under FIR No 313/2021 U/S 354,380 IPC
As per the complaint registered by the family, burglars looted Cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 4/5 lakhs from the house of late Manzoor Ahmad Kirmani.
