*Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Grace Sikkim's Golden Jubilee Statehood Day Celebration*
In a momentous announcement, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted his invitation to be the Chief Guest at Sikkim's 50th Statehood Day celebration on May 16, 2025. This milestone occasion marks the golden jubilee of Sikkim's merger with India, commemorating its integration as the 22nd state in 1975.
During their meeting on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Chief Minister Tamang extended warm greetings to the Prime Minister and engaged in profound and productive discussions on various issues pertinent to Sikkim.
