IDCC Central Pendam successfully organized its second coordination meeting on 25th July 2023, graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Patron Shri. Karma Tashi Bhutia, the Housing Board Chairman, Shri. Bebek Chettri, Zilla Panchayat of Central Pendam TC (Chairman of IDCC, Central Pendam), Principal (TNSSS-CP) Shri. Lekhraj Pokhrel, Smt. Savitri Sharma, Nari Shakti Coordinator Pakyong District (Vice-Chairman IDCC), Smt. Sunita Sharma (Chairman RDD), Ward Panchayat Karmithang ward, and other IDCC Committee members.

The meeting was further enriched by the participation of Tikalal Niroula Senior Secondary School faculty and staff members followed by youth and members of different bodies. The meeting witnessed the enthusiasm of all the stakeholders regarding the upcoming football tournament at Pendam School Ground. A coordination meeting was held at the residence of ward panchayat, Karmithang ward for discussion regarding conducting football tournament at the playground of Tikalal Niroula Senior Secondary School, Central Pendam.

It is now officially confirmed and Pendam School ground will witness it soon. Youths would like to thank our own Zilla Panchayat, Bebek Chettri for making this happen with his positive support. We would also like to thank all the panchayat members of central Pendam and west Pendam GPU for their positive support. More importantly, we would like to thank every distinguished person present in the meeting.

Years of wait is finally over now and memories are back!

Please note that this event is not associated with the event of Rangpo, this is a local youth initiative and an independent event with the support from local administration. Celebration at Rangpo is different and this is different.

Patriotic Youth Club, Tikalal Niroula Senior Secondary School, Zilla Panchayat of Central Pendam GPU, Panchayat members from Central Pendam and West Pendam GPU along with Chairpersons from various departments and other important stakeholders have agreed with youths to celebrate 77th Independence Day at Pendam School Ground through an IDCC.

After years of wait football tournament will be finally back at Pendam School Ground. This will be a historic celebration and the first independence day tournament to be held on the newly expanded ground.

Today, I was delighted to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of New Zilla office for the Zilla Panchayat Members of Duga Block (Including Sumin Lingzey, WestPendam, Central Pendam and Budang Kameray) at Duga BAC.

Inauguration Ceremony was graced by BDO Duga Shri. I B Chettri, Dy. Director Education, Account Officer BAC Duga, CLC Press and Publicity Coordinator Mr. Rupesh Basnett and locals were present.

Just after the Inauguration Ceremony, I also met with the public for the recommendation and other works.

On this occasion, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister of our great country Shri Narendra Modi ji, for taking the initiative to provide recognition to the ancient practice of yoga, which was endorsed by the UN General Assembly in 2014.
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient traditions, which can be practiced in the comfort of our homes. So, on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, I encourage everyone to include yoga in their daily life and bring a positive change in their lifestyle.

Yesterday on 18.06.2023; I along with SKM Party Karyakartas visited the Zero Mile area under 05-Deorali Ward of 02-Central Pendam GPU. I started a "Zilla on Doorstep" project where i will personally visit the house under my area and listen to their grievances and also assured to solve in all possible manner.

Likewise, AEO (Education Department), Mr. Sundar Rai, talked about Education and Education policies, He also talked about Schools Under Duga Block Territory.
Addressing the gathering, AD(PRI) cm Coordinator SBM-G, Duga BAC, Mr. DP Shilal, he discussed about SBM that is SWACHA BHARAT MISSION.
Likewise, APO (MGNREGA) Mr. Ksh*tiz Acharya, talked about MGNREGA. He also talked about ( AAFNO GAON AAFAI BANAW), what can we do for development of village and soo onn.

And the Last rites of late Shri Sarwananda Khatiwara is scheduled to be held today from his home and will be taken to Indrakil Prayag, Rangpo.

In a general meeting at Melli, Hon'ble Chief Minister cm Party President Shriman Prem Singh Tamang-Golay welcomed all the new joinees into SKM Party today at Melli where more then 1700 household joined.
