NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL RAJOURI IN PURSIT OF EXCELLENCE
Manvi Sharma, student of class 9th form NPS Rajouri is now highlighted in all over the Rajouri district for her achievement in kala Utsav 2023 at divisional level held by Directorate of Samagra Shiksha , Government of India.
Before her participation at state level, she performed well and won 1st prize in both zonal and district levels.
We get a chance to talk to her at her school, where she was talking about the reasons behind her success. When we questioned her about her preparation, the answer was quite interesting. She said that the teachers of N.P.S ,encouraged , motivated me a lot, as a result i was able to get 1st prize in zonal and district level and third prize I state level Competition.
Not only Manvi Sharma, the student from 6th Class (N.P.S), namely Abhay chandan ,who recently won first prize in painting competition at state level competition on the occasion of UT foundation Day, is a skilled and trained Little artist he told that their arts teacher Babal Chandan Sir practiced him a lot and as a result, he was able to won 1st prize in State level Competition ,in such a small age, which is such a brilliant performance.
In conclusion, we can say that N. P.S ,which was established In 1978 and providing quality education to students, is the pioneer and great educational Institution in Rajouri.
We want to thank Managing Director of the School Kanav Badyal, to allow us to have conversation with their talented students.

Hundreds of students from different education institutions and studying in different classes took part in ninth District Karate Championship organised in Rajouri on Wednesday.

This championship was organised by Amateur Karatre Do Association Rajouri which is affiliated to Amateur Karate Do Association Jammu and Kashmir and recognised by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and affiliated with World Karate Federation and Asian Karate Do Federation which is recognised with International Olympics Committee.

The championship was organised in indoor hall of sports stadium Rajouri in which students filled with sportive spirits competed with each other setting a trademark of promotion of Karate in Rajouri.

The award ceremony of this district championship was organised at indoor hall in which Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan K Parihar was chief guest while Medical Superintendent of GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri, Dr. Mehmood H Bajar was guest of honour alongwith retired Executive Engineer Abdul Qayoom, General Secretary of Karate Association J&K Sanjay Tutto.

The participants and winners of competition were felicitated during the award ceremony and medals, certificates and other prizes were distributed among them.

General Secretary of Karate Association of Rajouri, Yasmeen Kouser, who organised the competition, said that Karate is not only a game but an aspect of education which sharpens both physical as well as intellectual skills of students.

She said that there was a limited scope as well as exposure of Karate among the locals but now the game has received a platform and is promoted on large scale with hundreds of students are availing regular coaching of it.

Ms. Yasmeen said that district championship of Karate paves way for students to sharpen their skills through competitions besides inculcating an incomparable thrust of competition and participation among them.

*Student of National Public School, Rajouri bags 1st position in State level Open Painting Competition*

31/10/2023: Student of 7th class of NPS,Rajouri namely Abhay Chandan bring laurels for the entire Rajouridistrict by bagging 1st position in an open painting event organised by Directorate of School Education, Jammu on the eve of Jammu & Kashmir UT Foundation Day.
In the event, students from many districts had send their entries of their painting on the topic “Badalta Jammu aur Kashmir”. Among all the entries Abhay’s painting got selected for the event at the divisional level where it got the 1st prize.
He was facilitated today in the Teacher Bhawan, Jammu by various dignitaries. Director School Education, Deputy & Joint Director School Education, CEO, Jammu among many others.
