First Edition of Thannamandi Premier League Cricket Tournament concludes

Thannamandi Cricket premier league today concluded at Govt. Degree College Thannamandi. The cricket tournament was organized by Govt. Degree College Thannamandi under the banner “Say No to drugs yes to life” in collaboration with Thannamandi Sports Club.
A total of sixteen teams from different parts of tehsil Thannamandi participated in the said tournament. Syed Sahil Ali Shah (Tehsildar Thannamandi) was the chief guest on the occasion. Mr. Shakeel Mir (Chairman Municipality), & Mr. G.M, Kamlak, Mr. Ashiq Shawl (President TMSC), Mr, Rahil Ganai (senior journalist) along with others reputed personalities were present during the occasion. Mr. Sahil Shah Chief guest of the occasion distributed the trophies, medals and mementos & appreciation certificates among the winner and runner up teams.

ARMY ORGANISES SWARNIM VIJAY VARSH KABADDI TOURNAMENT AT DHARMARI, REASI

Dharmari, Reasi (30 Nov 2022). Indian Army organised Swarnim Vijay Varsh Kabaddi Tournament at Dharmari under Project Sadhbhavana in order to promote sporting culture and revive interest of youth in the field of sports.

Total of sixteen teams from the area of Sawalakat, Judda, Kanthan, Dhanour, Thuroo, Matlot and Dharmari
participated in the event. During the three days of conduct, for initial two days, league matches including semi-final match were conducted on knock out basis with final match conducted on 30 Nov 2022 between Higher Secondary School Juda and Government Degree College Bagga, in which Higher Secondary School Juda won and lifted up the Winners Trophy.
The event brought people of diverse backgrounds, religions and interest together, especially the youth from the remote areas.

The tournament culminated with felicitation of Winner, Runners Up & Second Runner Up team by DDC Member and village appointments. In addition, individual prizes to include Best Player, Best Raider & Best Catcher etc were also distributed. The Kabaddi tournament was a crowd puller and not only rekindled an enthusiasm among youth from the remote areas towards sports but also strengthened the connect with men in uniform.

Today on 28th of November 2022 in Govt HSS Jamola (Rajouri) celebrate ECO House week with it's Head MTR. Nasreen Akhter Lecturer head of ECO House, where as Raja Mohd Quyoom, MTR Arfana Khan, Mtr Shaida Parveen, Subash Chander also play vital role in organising the program on the first day.

As far as drones are concerned, as the issue escalated, the methods to tackle it also increased. We have a lot of resources & we've learnt a lot. As a result, drone activity in Jammu region has gone down to a great extent. Even in Punjab, BSF brings down drones almost every week. Earlier, this wasn't the case. It proves that we're very alert about the threat & we've been successful in tackling it. I feel that in the yrs to come, we'll be able to completely tackle it: DK Boora, IG, BSF Jammu frontier
