Ram Navami is a significant Hindu festival celebrated to honour the divine birth of Lord Rama. It is an auspicious festival that promotes happiness, hope new opportunities and the embodiment of righteousness. It usually falls anytime between March and April and is observed on the ninth day of the Chaitra month. This festival is celebrated with utmost devotion, immense happiness and excitement People come together on this occasion to perform various religious ceremonies and rituals like prayers, Puja reciting mantras, decorating home, fasting singing, dancing and organising kirtan.

Lord Rama who is known to be the seventh avatar of Vishnu is an immensely important figure in the Hindu religion and is the perfect example of compassion, kindness, respect and unconditional love. He’s also called Maryada Purushottam Ram.

The ninth day of Chatra Navratri is also celebrated as Ram Navami as per the Hindu calendar and it marks the birth of Lord Rama.

Baisakhi marks the Birth of the Khalsa community or the Khalsa Pant by Guru Gobind Singh ji when he recognised the need for unity of the community and the great things they could achieve together.

Baishaki is also agriculturally significant for the Sikhs, it is a mark of the harvest festival in Punjab. During this festival the thank for the good produce that they had and pray for a healthy crop produce the next year, they express their gratitude for both and it is accompanied by celebrations and processions which include music and dance.

The celebrations also promotes a sense of unity and friendship among Skihs worldwide. On this day they gather together in Gurudwaras to pay their respects to their Guru who guided them and let them know the right path of life.

While the Sikhs are active in charitable through the year during Baishaki it becomes a form of social and community services.

Many Sikhs choose the day of Baisakhi to organise Langar, do seva for the Gurudwaras distribute food and clothing to the ones that need them. At last Baishaki is the day for renewal and the day for gratitude. Sikhs all over to world reflect on their actions and deeds in the year that has passed and hope and pry for better times ahead, filled with religious and spiritual acts that take them closer to the teaching of the Guru through prayers in the form of “Paath”, meditation and dicipline, sikhs all over the world pray for a better connection with the teachings prescribed for them.

Eid-ul-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal, the month following Ramadan in the Islamic lunar calendar. It is a day of Joy and thanksgiving, as Muslims come together to express gratitude for the blessings they have received during the holy month. The festival begins with the sighting of the new moon, which marks the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwal.

One of the key rituals of Eid-ul-Fitr is the giving of Zakat al-Fitr, a form of charity that is obligatory for every Muslim who can affordd it. We were fortunate to have this opportunity to work in the final 3D style development along with the directors and the clients and execute the entire show from “Asset build to final comp output.”

Studio V Sync is a 3 year old company setup by Vinod Shetty and Mehul Hirani. Studio V Sync started off as service provider for the Animation and the VFX industry, primary focus being 3D animation from Asset development to final comp out. Over the past 3 years the Studio has scaled up from 2 individuals to 30 full time artist across all verticals additionally with an extended team in animation and asset development. In these 3 years Studio V Sync has delivered around 24 x 11 minutes episodes for various TV show, 30-40 TV commercials, 2 DVD Features 75-80 minutes each. The biggest USP for Studio V Sync is the experience of the two partners and their relationship with the artist across the globe. The Studio has grown steadily by selecting the best talent one at a time to ensure that it has the best of the best from the industry.
