Kumta: In a deeply saddening turn of events, Ibrahim Saheb, the visionary founder president of Ideal Education Trust, breathed his last at the age of 87 after a week-long medical treatment at a private hospital in Mangalore. The illustrious life of Ibrahim Saheb was dedicated to the pursuit of educational excellence, community service, and fostering unity among diverse sections of society.

Ibrahim Saheb's remarkable journey began with the establishment of the Muslim-based Educational Institution in Kumta, known today as Ideal Education Trust. Through unwavering determination and alongside a dedicated team, he turned his dream into reality. His tireless efforts not only enabled countless students to access higher education but also paved the way for a myriad of opportunities that propelled them towards success.

A true trailblazer, Ibrahim Saheb stood at the forefront of community service, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to uplifting those in need. He was known for his amicable nature, fostering connections across various sections of society. As a prominent executive member of the North Kanara Muslim United Forum and district president for North Kanara Muslim Educational Institution Organization, his influence extended far and wide.

Ibrahim Saheb's reach extended beyond geographical boundaries. His journey took him to prominent roles in renowned Indian and Omani companies, showcasing his versatility and commitment to professional excellence. Even in his later years, he remained an active participant in events, recently attending the Coastal Karnataka Muslim leaders Meet in Bhatkal.

Tragically, just a day before his passing, Ibrahim Saheb lost his beloved wife, Mrs. Asgar Banu, adding an extra layer of sorrow to the community's grief. The news of his demise has left the community in shock, with condolences pouring in from all corners.

The funeral prayers for Ibrahim Saheb will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, after Zohar prayers at the Kumta Muslim graveyard. His legacy as a visionary leader, educator, and community champion will continue to inspire generations to come.

Eid Al Adha Prayer Timings in Kumta Masjids Announced

In Kumta, the highly anticipated occasion of Eid Al Adha will be joyfully celebrated on Thursday, 29th June. Muslims across the region are eagerly looking forward to the day of festivities. According to recent reports, prayers will be offered in all mosques throughout the area, following the refreshing showers of rain.

The prayer timings have been officially announced for several prominent masjids in Kumta. Vanalli Jama Masjid will commence the Eid prayer at 7:30 am, followed by Farooqui Jamia Masjid at 7:45 am. Jamia Masjid Kumta and Madeena Masjid will hold their prayer session at 8:00 am.

To ensure a smooth and timely gathering, all Muslim brethren have been kindly requested to assemble at their respective mosques half an hour before the designated prayer time. This will allow for necessary preparations and a serene ambiance for the auspicious occasion.

As the community eagerly awaits Eid Al Adha, these prayer timings will provide a guideline for the faithful to come together in unity, expressing their gratitude and devotion. یہ قدیم مسلم تاجروں کی روایت تھی کہ وہ صبح دکان کھولنے کے ساتھ ایک چھوٹی سی کرسی دکان کے باہر رکھتے تھے جوں ہی پہلا گاہک آتا دکاندار کرسی اس جگہ سے اٹھاتا اور دکان کے اندر رکھ دیتا تھا. لیکن جب دوسرا گاہک آتا دکاندار اپنی دکان سے باہر نکل کر بازار پر اک نظر ڈالتا جس دکان کے باہر کرسی پڑی ہوتی وہ گاہک سے کہتا کہ تمہاری ضرورت کی چیز اس دکان سے ملے گی،

میں صبح کا آغاز کرچکا ہوں. کرسی کا دکان کے باہر رکھنا اس بات کی نشانی ہوتی تھی کہ ابھی تک اس دکاندار نے آغاز نہیں کیا ہے. یہ مسلم تاجروں کا اخلاق اور محبت تھی نتیجتا ان پر برکتوں کا نزول ہوتا تھا.
