A) District Police Pakke Kessang conducted a successful operation resulting in the seizure of Rs 12 lakhs from two individuals at Khodaso Naka Check Point.

B) Additionally, two unlicensed 12 Bore SBBL guns were confiscated at Seijosa NEC Naka Point.

C) Furthermore, an additional amount of Rs 3,50,000 was seized at Khodaso Naka Point.

Rs 15,50,000 to date.

Intensive naka checking operations are ongoing 24x7 across the district.

The team operating in Seijosa Sub Division, under the leadership of SDPO Seijosa Sachi Dore, and the team in Pakke Kessang, led by SI Nyato Sora, OC PS Pakke Kessang, are actively involved in these efforts.

All cash seizures were conducted in the presence of the Magistrate and Nodal Officer of the Election Expenditure Monitoring Team.

Ziro Police seizes Rs 59 Lakhs in cash during routine check

During a routine checkpoint at the Pine Groove area, the Ziro Police made a significant discovery, seizing a substantial sum of Rs 59,20,000 (59 Lakhs and 20 thousand) in cash.

The cash was found concealed in a grey journey bag inside a Scorpio vehicle stopped for inspection. Identified as belonging to Shri Boa Terry of Boa Shimla, Kamle, the vehicle was reportedly en route from Ziro to Kamle district.

Legal procedures were meticulously followed in the presence of an executive magistrate throughout the operation.

SUPREME COURT GRANTS BAIL TO TAKET JERANG PRIME ACCUSED IN APPSC PAPER LEAKAGE CASE

Grounds for granting bail under Special leave to Appeal (Criminal).

1. On perusal of the records, it is found that 7 out of 10 accused are already enlarged on bail.

2. As far as apprehension of prosecution regarding hampering or tempering with evidence or influencing witnesses by the accused person, it can be taken care of by imposing stringent terms and conditions.

3. Further, the accused person had already incarcerated in custody for over a year and no charges had been framed by the trial court.

As per the legal counsel of the accused, bail is granted till completion of trial.

12 Oct 2023|Itanagar: A tragic derailment of six coaches from the North East Express occurred in Buxar,Bihar during its journey from Delhi's Anand Vihar Terminal to Assam's Kamakhya. The incident which took place near Raghunathpur Station around 9.35 Pm has led to fear of at least four casualties and several injuries.Rescue team have been dispatched and Railways have issued helpline numbers for assistance.The injured passengers are recieving urgent medical attention as situation unfolds.

PAPUM PARE POLICE SOLVES A BLIND R**E CASE WITHIN 3(THREE) HOURS.

28/06/23|Papum Pare: Today, at around 11:30 hrs, a verbal information was received from one Shri Nabam Taning of Hollongi that one person (identity not clear) has r***d his adopted daughter (a Minor), Miss Rumi (name changed), aged about 13 yrs, resident of Hollongi, on 20th June 2023 at around 08:00 hrs at Hollongi bridge inside one silver colour car.

As per the statement of the victim, on 20th June 2023, at around 08:00 hrs, the alleged accused called her and asked her to meet him at Hollongi. So, in good faith, she agreed to meet him. The alleged accused picked her up from the Hollongi gate and took her to hollongi bridge in a car. After some time, the alleged accuse forcefully r***d her inside the car. After ra**ng, the alleged accused dropped the victim near Hollongi gate and fled away. After the incident, the alleged accused switched off his phone. She further stated that she befriended this unknown person in the month of May 2023 over the phone and never met him before.

Taking the cognizance of the verbal information, a special team consisting of Shri Maga Tago, SDPO, Balijan and SI M.Hussain, IC hollongi gate under the close supervision of SP Papumpare, Dr Neelam Nega was constituted.
It was a challenging case for the team as the victim was unaware of the real name of the accused.

After 3hrs of intensive search on the basis of human, technical inputs and Social media surveillance, the alleged accused, namely Mr Tulsi Biskarma, aged 20 yrs, S/o Nepal Biswakarma, a permanent address of Kukurjaan, Milanjyoti LP school, PO/PS -Gohpur, District Sonitpur, Assam, presently residing at AT car service chimpu, Itanagar was arrested.

After following all the legal procedures, the alleged accused has been forwarded to WPS Itanagar for further action. A case vide WPS Itanagar case No. 63/23 U/S 376 IPC, R/W section 4 of POCSO Act has been registered accordingly.

A White Alto Car with AS01FL1747 Registration Found in River Panyor; Two Bodies Suspected in Accident Between Kimin and Potin

A white-colored Alto car bearing registration number AS01FL1747 was found in the Panyor River (Ranga). It is suspected that the vehicle got into an accident between Kimin (Papum Pare district) and Potin (Lower Subansiri). The information was received on Thursday by a local fisherman who spotted the ill-fated car in the river and informed the local police at Kimin.

The Kimin police, with the help of local people, are trying hard in the rescue operation and also attempting to retrieve the bodies from the said car. According to the information, two bodies have been stored in the car.

The accident took place near the IOCL bottling plant in the 8 Kilo area of Kimin circle. It is also suspected that the occupants may belong from Assam; however, their identification is yet to be established, sources informed.

Dr. Tana Prity, the daughter of Tana Sunny and Jomo Koni Tana from Balijan, has made headlines by securing the first rank in the ST category and an overall rank of 84 in the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) entrance examination. Her achievement has earned her a seat in the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which had two vacancies for the ST category in the MDS program.

On early morning 27 March while on an operational task in the forward area in Tawang sector a team of Indian Army personnel was struck by a sudden massive landslide with debris of 6-7 feet including fallen trees, rock and mud.

During the incident, while everyone else was able to escape without any critical injury, Subedar AS Dhagale got trapped in the debris. Search operation was launched immediately to locate him.

On 01 April 23, at around 10:50 AM after massive search for four days by multile teams and specialist equipment, Subedar AS Dhagale’s mortal remains were retrieved from the land slide site. Mortal remains have been moved to District Hospital, Tawang.

Sub AS Dhagale belonged to district Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Wreath laying is planned at Tawang before the dispatch of mortal remains to the hometown.
