In a press briefing at Aalo, West Siang District, the All Adi Student's Union (ADISU) demanded the removal of SP for a fair probe into the matter in connection to the Government Residential School molestation case.
Jirbo Jamoh President ADISU informed that the union had served a 7 days ultimatum to the Shi-Yomi Administration failing to which the union would be deemed go for democratic movement.
Jamoh said that the ADISU demanded the "Immediate termination of the accused Yumken Bagra from his job ", & "immediate arrest of the same"
Kaleng Tadeng, Speaker ADISU, added that the team ADISU has decided to go for a 12-hour bandh call in the Shi-Yomi District.
Tadeng further added that ___"The accused Bagra's mentality was nasty in nature & the manner of his molestation to the students in the Residential School was beyond normalcy"
"He (Yumken Bagra) forcefully let the minor students in the hostel see explicit content videos and indulged them in a wrongful act"
ADISU speaker slammed the police department of Shi-Yomi for having failed to nab the culprit at the right time and letting him escape.
Tadeng appealed to the public for cooperation with the student body on its phase-wise bandh call.

In a tragic incident at the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Campus at Rono Hills, one IRBN Personnel Chingri Mamai lost his life, resulting from a short argument that he had with his other IRBN mate supposedly stationed there for duty.
Officer in Charge, Doimukh Police station Inya Ete in his press briefing said that as per the preliminary inquiry, no argument as such was found, however, the event which resulted in the loss of one IRBN personnel shall be revealed after an investigation.
He further added that the accused Wangru Taidong has been registered under Doimukh case No 52/2022 under section 302, (Murder case). Further outcomes shall be a part of the investigation.
The deceased body will be taken to Changlang for his last rites by the family members after the postmortem is completed.

The Bazar Welfare Society on Friday distributed relief funds to the victims of the Naharlagun fire mishap that had occurred in the previous month.
Kipa Nei, Chairman, Bazar Welfare Society informed The Space, that the society had distributed a relief fund of Rs.1000 to around 295 fire victims today, wherein 108 victims had been provided earlier.
He further appealed to the government to look into the pending amount of RS. 3800 relief fund which needed to be credited into the bank accounts of the fire victims.
"State government and the authority concern should aptly catch the culprit whosoever had contributed in the tragic fire accident"__added Nei.
In the previous month, in a tragic incident, the main daily market at Naharlagun was engulfed in a blazing inferno devouring around 700 vegetable shops and around 12 nos of Private shops which comprise Groceries and others.

It was organised by Kamki area sports association (KASA) to commemorate golden jubilee of erstwhile NEC dairy farm Kamki at Kamki area general ground.
There were a total of 16 teams, all from West Siang.
Kardo Nyigyor, MLA of 28th Likabali (ST) Assembly Constituency was the Chief guest, while Gokar Basar, MLA of 29th Basar ST Assembly Constituency, and Nymar Karbak, MLA of 27th Liromba (ST) Assembly Constituency cm Govt. Spokesperson, Advisor to Home, Tax and Excise and Narcotics graced the Closing Ceremony as the Guest of honour and Special Guest respectively which was held on November 10 at Kamki Area General Ground.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Patron, Dr. Tomar Kamki, KASA, highlighted about three major points. Dr Kamki being a doctor stressed on the importance of being fit and healthy and he encouraged the veteran players to maintain a healthy and fit life as they experience certain health issues like hypertension etc after the age of 35.
He also addresses the youth and encourages them to stay healthy instead of involving themselves in drug and alcohol addiction.
A playground was also inaugurated at the day opening day of the tournament which will be a common playground for all the three villages i.e., Dego Kamki, Kamki and Dairy Farm Kamki.
Speaking on the occasion, the three guests have appreciated the efforts of the first time ever day and night match.
MLA Nyigyor in his speech said that U-14 age group matches should also be organised.
While MLA Basar too praised the efforts of the successful tournament organised by KASA and MLA Karbak promised that he will turn the playground inaugurated

PPA General Secretary Kaling Jerang on Thursday appealed to the denizens to cooperate with the CBI but not solely be dependent upon them, amidst the APPSC fiasco row.
Speaking on the party's press release, Jerang mentioned that, " the Party led by him & had visited the CBI office at Zoo Road, Itanagar on 8th November 2022 but was denied access to the CBI officials after one of the staff came to take his identification."
He further added that "the CBI officials investigating the matter had
initially agreed & invited some media-persons to brief about the case on 7h Nov' 2022. However, when the media persons reached their office, they were denied any audience and instead were asked to seek
permission from Delhi"
Mentioning the termination of the APSSB accused Kapter Ringu, General Secretary PPA , Jerang stressed that the APSSB scam should be reopened, and action should be taken against SK Jain.
He further added that "Resignation of APPSC Chairman Nabam Nipo doesn't mean he is clean, he should be interrogated and investigated, Taket Jerang cannot do it alone, APPSC fiasco must have been done by a team"
"Everyone should be equally investigated" added Jerang.
PPA President, Kahfa Bengia said that similar scenarios have always been there with the SIC but such actions had not been done earlier, that is the reason for the trust deficit towards the SIC by the party.

On 9th of November 2022, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein laid the foundation stone of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) house Arunachal Pradesh branch at Naharlagun, in the presence of Dr. Lobsang Tsetim, President, IMA-AP, and Dr. Jego Ori, Hony, Secretary, IMA-AP.
Dr.Ori stated that the laying of the foundation stone by DCM Chowna Mein is a historic moment and indeed a proud moment for all the doctors of the state.
He further added that Haa Tatu, proprietor of Kenge Construction donated the land for construction.
"I on behalf of doctors and IMA thanked the CM Pema Khandu," said Dr.Ori while mentioning that the infrastructure looks forward to being completed within 24 months.
Donor Haa Tatu also mentioned that the IMA house shall witness a structural change and shall be constructed from the perspective of the future need.

Having received the assurance from the state Government, Yatok Mra, sister of the missing Everester said that the concerned department should initiate the disbursement of funds within March month of 2023.
She added that the expedition to the mountains has certain seasons, & currently the base camps at Mt.Kyari Satam is engulfed with a blanket of snow and the family members shall move ahead with the search and rescue operation based on better weather condition.
"I cannot risk others' life because of me, hence we shall see accordingly " Mra added.
