7. Decided to improve the functioning of the Education Department by subdividing it into two sections:
i. School Education
ii. Higher Education, Technical and Medical Education.
Each to be headed by a Secretary under the overall charge of the Additional Chief Secretary.

8. The meeting concluded by expressing gratitude to the people of Sikkim acknowledging their dedication and support which resulted in the highest voting turnout percentage in the country. Without the support of the beloved people of Sikkim, this event wouldn’t have been staged and brought up to this level of success.

Gratitude message from SKM president PS Tamang:

Dear and Respected People of Sikkim,

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the esteemed people of Sikkim for the historic victory of the SKM party. Your unwavering support has led us to this landmark victory, a triumph of truth and the people's will. Our Sikkimese community has transcended past negativities and divisive ideologies. My heartfelt thanks go to the new voters, who came all the way from different places of their institutions especially to cast their vote in favour of us.
Dear and Respected People of Sikkim,
The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Party stands as a beacon of hope, lighting the way for a new dawn leading to golden and prosperous future. I am deeply honored by your trust in me and our party, as evidenced by this brilliant victory in the 11th assembly elections. This win is not just ours; it belongs to the youth, students, and every Sikkimese who dreams of a bright future for our children and a prosperous, inclusive society.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Your support and active participation in the democratic process have made this achievement possible. This mandate is a testament to your faith in our vision for Sikkim's multifaceted development. I also extend my respect and gratitude to my fellow candidates and all political parties. In a democracy, diversity of opinion and healthy debate strengthen us. Let's unite to work for the common good and welfare of our beloved state.

To the dear youth of the SKM party, I make a special appeal, despite any grievances; remember we are all children of the same mother Sikkim, we are dear brothers, sisters, neighbors, and relatives. Let us set aside our prejudices, forgive past wrongs, and move forward for the benefit of our family, society, and state. I urge everyone to foster peace and goodwill, dedicating our time to the upliftment of our Sikkimese community.

We must remember that Sikkimese citizens of any party are our relatives. Our victory today calls for collective progress and development. Let’s commit to fulfilling our promises, uplifting every citizen, and ensuring that Sikkim becomes a model of sustainable and inclusive development.

We will enhance our infrastructure, healthcare, tourism, and education, and all possible avenues, providing opportunities for our youth. We will always protect our environment and preserve Sikkim's natural beauty.

Over the next five years, our focus will be on the progress and prosperity of all people, not on personal gains. Our past achievements, like the Aama Yojana for the welfare of poor mothers, reflect our commitment. This victory is a testament to the blessings and support that we received from our dear people, especially the most vulnerable.

We will continue our efforts to support the poor, the sick, and the needy. From the unborn child to our senior citizens, we will stand by every Sikkimese in their times of need. Despite challenges, our unity and determination will help us overcome obstacles. The people have given us a great gift by entrusting us with their future, and we will honor this trust with unwavering dedication.

This victory is not just for today but a promise for the future generations.

A future where every Sikkimese can thrive, and where our customs, traditions, and natural heritage are preserved. All communities and all the religions are respected. We will ensure safety for our mothers, daughters, children, senior citizens, all our people, and the future generations.

Let’s work together to make Sikkim stronger, prosperous, and inclusive. This is our collective vision, and together we will make it a reality.

Dear People of Sikkim,

We will remain committed and work for the people's benefit, and we aspire from our youth to put effort and persevere and contribute positively to society. Let’s respect each other, maintain harmony, and collectively ensure a favorable and happy environment for all.

I extend my heartiest congratulations to the candidates of the SKM Party for the tremendous victory they achieved.

Thank you all once again for your trust, confidence, and support. We will uphold the principles of unity, integrity, justice, equality, and collective progress among the people of Sikkim. I sincerely appreciate the historic decision of our dear people and promise that we will never forget your trust and virtue that you have bestowed to us.

Thank you.
Jai Sikkim!
