ראיון מקיף על המצב היום בהארץ. על מה היה ומה אולי יהיה ואיפה אנחנו בתוך המערבולת.

״טוקטלי מאמין שאחד התפקידים של קהילת המוזיקה הישראלית הוא לפעול אחרת, לא לחזור לאותה אשליה. "אם צריך לדבר על הכיבוש אז כן, לדבר. להפיל את הממשלה הרעה הזאת. מה לעשות, אי אפשר להתעלם משום דבר יותר. כשזה ייגמר התפקיד שלנו לא יהיה רק לעשות מסיבות, אלא לדרוש מהמדינה כלים לדברר את מי שאנחנו. הרבה פעמים סיפרו לנו שאם נמכור מסיבות טובות ואוכל טוב ואת תל אביב – יהיה בסדר. אבל מסביב לתל אביב יש את עזה, ורמאללה, ויישובים בצפון, וצריך להתייחס לזה.
תמיד עשינו הסברה מול אמנים. דיברנו איתם, שיקפנו את המצב, הבאנו אותם לארץ לא רק בשביל שהם יתקלטו פה אלא שהם יראו את האנשים פה ויכירו אותם, ולהכיר להם את המציאות שלנו שיש בה קונפליקט, ולעטוף אותם גם בידע וגם באהבה ובחברות. הבעיה היא שאנחנו כרגע כמה שבועות אחרי והממשלה שלנו לא עושה שום דבר. את הכעס שאני מרגיש עכשיו אני מפנה לממשלה. אנחנו כרגע נותנים איזה גיבוי לממשלה בעייתית", הוא אומר, ומתייחס גם לחלק הפעיל שלקח בהפגנות בקפלן בשנה האחרונה. "תמיד היינו, גם כאנשים וגם כעסק, בעלי דעה פוליטית ושיקפנו את זה. יצאנו להפגנות, אירגנו הפגנות. הרבה פעמים בארץ שאלו אותנו למה אנחנו מערבבים פוליטיקה ומוזיקה וענינו 'למה לא'. האכזבה שאנשים חווים היום מהקהילה העולמית נובעת בחלקה מזה שהמשטר הזה מכר את תחושת ה'יהיה בסדר', וזאת תחושה מרדימה ומאלחשת. היא הרדימה הרבה אנשים בארץ בכל מיני סקטורים וגם בעולמות שלנו, של הסצינה, וגרמה לנו לא להתמודד עם הקונפליקט".

ARMED HAMAS TERRORIST FORCES BROKE ISRAEL’S SOUTHERN GAZA BORDER WHILE 2200 ROCKETS WERE FIRED BY AIR - SENDING MOST OF THE COUNTRY TO THE SHELTERS.

SOME OF THESE GUNMEN GOT INTO THE KIBBUTZIM ON THE BORDER, MURDERING YOUNG PEOPLE, WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND TOOK FAMILIES HOSTAGES INTO GAZA.

ANOTHER GROUP BROKE INTO A TRANCE PARTY AND OPENED FIRE.

UP UNTIL NOW WE DON’T KNOW HOW MANY HOSTAGES ARE IN GAZA - THERE ARE
SEVRAL DOZEN CIVILIANS MURDERD
AND MORE THEN 500 INJURED.

THIS NIGHTMARE IS PROBABLY THE BLACKEST MORNING ISRAEL HAS EVER HAD.

WE’RE COMPLETELY HEART BROKEN SENDING OUR PRAYERS TO OUR FRIENDS IN THE TRANCE COMMUNITY AND OUR LOVED ONES IN THE SOUTH.

RIGHT NOW ALL ISRAEL IS UNDER ATTACK AND WE’RE CLOSED AT SHELTERS.

Maxi Jazz is a true pioneer and one of our generation’s unique voices. One that inspired Book Me Tiger’s journey in night life.

This collective trip we took together not sleeping and dreaming about values in club culture. Looking at the dance floor as a home of a spiritual community.

This is why we do what we do
and thank you for the music - It will stay with us forever.

Benji X Rina are the combination of Asaf and Benjamin A fresh live act of the two dj’s & producers from Tel Aviv. Thanks to a recent Burning Man appearance, a US tour, and excellent sets at festivals and clubs in Tel - Aviv and Europe this Duo are one of the most interesting new live acts of the year.

Benji brings percussion instruments from trips to Africa and Asia which after get’s recorded by Rina who gives their metallic vocals it electronic edge. They bring new airy vibe to the dance floor inspired by 80s’ electro and hipster italo disco music.

Benji And Rina best known hit is “Ani Cham” released on Fauna Rêve in collaboration with MEGAPHONIM creating a unique and new modern interpretation of israeli dance music.

This very tallented duo released tracks on labels such as Correspondent, Bigamo, Blue Shadow, Eskimo records and more. With this super cool tracks who featured in top charts and received tremendous support from DJs and Radio Shows around the globe, we can say that 2022 was the debut year fo the duo on Ya Hala Ya Hala Records delivering a breathtaking 4-tracks EP titled ‘You Are Beautiful.

Magit Cacoon returns home to her Mago Music imprint with her new single 'Adoration'. The Tel Aviv based DJ and producer is keeping busy with a full DJ diary, alongside recent releases for MoBlack, Radikon and Renaissance.

The original track is a deep and emotional slab of musical warmth, with its subtle melodious vibes meeting a punchy bass fusing dark and light and delivering a bit of a beautiful monster!

Dutch maestro Maxim Lany steps up first on remix duties, and takes us on a hypnotic dark edged slant, with its moody flavours shining through the intensity. Its dirty!

We head to Spain next, and its Kid Simius, and with releases gracing Watergate and Permanent Vacation, you already know you are guaranteed quality here. Energetic bubbly warmth fusing a punchy piano line to create a feel good peak time re-work. Oh yes!

Rounding off this EP, we head to the Canary islands as Alex Medina takes things deep and adds some real swagger, as breakbeats beat energy as the arp really goes in to overdrive, creating tension and excitement.
