We had a great time at Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) last week! The Bird and the Whale screened alongside an amazing program of Irish Shorts for the Focus on Ireland Selection and we had a great time pitching our slate of projects at Animation Production Days. What an incredible event! Thank you so much to Culture Ireland and , Embassy of Ireland, Berlin and Animation Ireland, especially Delphine Coudray, Róisín Chapman and Candice Gordon for organising everything, it was amazingly well run and organised. See you all next year?!

We’re delighted The Bird & the Whale was selected for the Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand 2024 Panorama “EuroVisions – European Women with a movie camera”. A selection of 22 European films, made between 2013 and 2022, representing 25 European countries, 6 of which are animated. ‘Each film offers a unique perspective, illuminating aspects of life, society, and humanity through the prism of female talent.’ Screening all this week along with many amazing films, check it out if you can!

We're very excited that The Bird and the Whale has been selected to represent Ireland in The Women's World Cup of Shorts by ShortsTV!!

It will open the Women's World Cup of Shorts tomorrow along with Sarah-Jayne Portelli's short film 'Daughter' representing Australia!

We’re delighted to be heading to Cartoon Forum again this year with our latest 2D preschool series Christopher Creature!

Each day, Christopher plays in his garden and encounters a different kind of animal going about their usual business. Christopher offers to help, but they scoff at his ability to do so. “A little boy?! Building a nest?! Not with those wings!” But with the help of a magical tree at the end of the garden, Christopher is able to dress-up and transform into the animal in question and goes off to help them build nests, dig for grub or care for cubs!

Written and created by the amazing Kristina Yee, directed by Carol Freeman, with fabulous artwork by Katie Sherlock and produced by Chris Hees.

Looking forward to sharing more of Christopher’s adventures in the coming weeks!

Our Eagle has flown to Portugal this week, screening in official selection at CINANIMA!! 'Coming Home' is a paint-on-glass collaboration with Scholz & Friends and Stadt der Städte telling the tale of the White Tailed Eagle's return to the Metropole Ruhr after 200 years. 🦅

We’re very excited to finally be sharing our paint-on-glass film for the Metropole Ruhr, ‘Coming Home’!

Created in collaboration with Scholz & Friends in Berlin, 'Coming Home' tells the tale of the white-tailed sea eagle returning to their former home, the Metropole Ruhr in Germany. Once a landmark for industrial pollution, the region is now one of Europe's leaders in green energy. The return of the sea eagle to breed in the area after over 200 years is the perfect metaphor for this transformation.
