Based in Bulgaria, Kevork's film journey began with comedy, despite not considering himself funny. He blends humor with dramatic, melancholic narratives exploring human nature's darker facets. His unique style features surreal elements like polar bears and whimsical animations, brought to life by stellar actors. Trained in Film and TV editing in Sofia and at the London Film Academy, his directorial debut came in 2015 with "Getting Fat In A Healthy Way" marking the start of a captivating cinematic journey.

Ben Colwell & Conor Ryan are a directing duo who have been directing commercials together for over four years, they have already racked up an impressive portfolio, producing commercials for brands such as Ryanair, Transport for Ireland, Chill Insurance, Wayflyer, and AIB.
With an unorthodox blend of backgrounds in computer science and filmmaking respectively, their combined expertise results in work that pairs a scientific attention to detail and novel camerawork, with compelling narratives and spirited performances – playfully technical films.

Michael (or Mike but never Micky or Mick) has honed his directing craft over the past 15 years having come from an editing background. He has worked with a ton of A-List talent and celebrities and loves nothing more than squeezing the absolute best comedy out of a script and actors. A producer’s and client’s dream to work with, he loves his job more than his kids (not really, but close). Hates butter, loves coffee and has two different sized feet for some reason.

Nick Kelly

Rubberduck is delighted to welcome the talented Nick Kelly to our roster.
Nick has directed powerful and engaging TV spots and online films for clients as diverse as AIB, Barry’s Tea, Yuno Energy, Newstalk Radio, Clonakilty Black Pudding, the Irish Film Archive (featuring Saoirse Ronan) and the Simon Communities.
Nick began writing and directing short films in 2003. His third short Shoe was Oscar-shortlisted at the 2011 Academy Awards, and his debut feature "The Drummer And The Keeper" (2017) won 18 awards on the international film circuit.
Having initially qualified as a solicitor (and given up the same day) Nick has enjoyed stellar success in a variety of creative fields. In addition to his work as a director, he is a Clio-winning copywriter and a Choice Music Prize-nominated musical artist.
Most recently he initiated The Song Cycle, a novel sustainability project for which he travelled to the 2022 Glastonbury Festival by bicycle, playing concerts en route and filming his journey for a forthcoming feature length documentary.

Lucy Bridger

Lucy tells impactful human stories that are cinematic, intimate and absorbing. She is especially interested in telling stories of underrepresented characters in society. Authenticity is key in Lucy’s work so she takes an encouraging and gentle approach to directing actors, often encouraging improvisation to get performances that feel real. Casting is central to Lucy’s work and she frequently works with both experienced actors and non-actors.

Jamie Lane

Rubberduck is delighted to welcome multi award-winning Jamie Lane to our roster.
Jamie directs comedy commercials. He has directed for such clients including Coca Cola, Sony Ericsson, BMW, McDonalds, Mars, Wrigley’s and O2 to name but a few. His success is largely due to his talents in directing natural, fluid performances with interesting casting, combining this with subtle and realistic humour.
He has won two Lions at Cannes to show for it. Jamie directs both subtle and broad humour; developing very specific looks for each spot he works on. Jamie keeps busy working shooting in different countries all over Europe and Asia. His eye & passion for the camera also sees him unveil his unique & quirky “collection” of stills adding a new element to his showreel.

Declan Lowney

Rubberduck welcomes BAFTA winning and Emmy nominated Declan Lowney to our roster.
Declan's work is a masterful blend of light comedy and heartfelt performances, skilfully capturing the emotional essence of each story while maintaining a humorous touch. Declan's recent career is dominated by the success of "Ted Lasso," where he directed 8 episodes and served as a Supervising Producer for Season 2. His collaboration with Jason Sudeikis extended to directing the Season 3 Finale, earning him Emmy and Directors Guild of America Award nominations.
In addition to his success in film and television, Lowney has a parallel career in advertising, directing high-end comedy commercials, such as the acclaimed Warburtons bread campaign in the UK. The campaign featured iconic performances from Sylvester Stallone, The Muppets, and Robert De Niro, earning praise as De Niro's "best work in living memory" by The Guardian.
