Whackala's first drama short is being re-released by Planet Classroom! See Leticia Agudo's interview here with C.M. Ruben about the making of Refuge and to watch the film.

Refuge was produced by PaulDoodles with Cinematography by Jaro Waldeck.

This month, audiences can screen Refuge on the Planet Classroom Network.

Our short family film , written & directed by Leticia Agudo, featuring the wonderful Maeve Leonard, Karen Healy and Ella Maria Carmen; shot by the lighting wizard that is Jaro Waldeck; edited by Whackala's talented Bobby Moloney, with incredible VFX by Whackala's PaulDoodles (and a cool as cucumber cameo) has launched for worldwide viewing at Planet Classroom Network. After travelling the world from Seattle's SIFF to Sitges Intl. Fantastic Film Festival, with stop offs at Animation Di**le, Dublin International Film Festival, Cinequest, L.A. Shorts International Film Festival and 35 other festivals along the way, our Screen Ireland / RTÉ short "Lady Betty" is now available to view online! It's screening on Omoleto, the YouTube channel dedicated to the world's best short films. Head on over and check it out!

Lady Betty was directed by Paul McGrath, produced by Leticia Agudo, screenplay by Bobby Moloney based on the story by Lorraine Harton, and stars David Pearse and Colm Meaney.
