20 years ago, @stuartcharlesdouglas's iconic TV commercial for Guinness hit our screens.
A lot has changed in that time, including Stuart, and all of us!
But...great film-making and great ideas outlive fast. It is never officially Christmas TV Ad season in Ireland until this drops into our living rooms. Stuart still loves to work here, so if you need film craft and great direction, you know where to find us

We are excited to bring you this new piece of work from @chriscottam and @natasha.waugh who co-directed the 2022 Cannes Young Lions film for the @Dublinrapecrisis and@weconsentirl. The idea was to show that consent to sex is a continuous process and something we should all practice. Thank you to all of our collaborators and partners who made this film possible. And a special shout out to all of our crew

Award winning, memorable work from a director who can create magic.
Very pleased to share this work that Gar O’Rourke @garorourke worked on with @bbhdublin @bbhlondon and our good friends in MJZ London
Vladyslava Denys, CD of the Art Directors Club of Ukraine will be at The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) Manifesto next week, come hear her speak with authority about what is happening to the creative industries in Ukraine.
This 2 day event is aimed at the creative industries to assert the power of Irish Independent creativity, to challenge ourselves in our storytelling and ultimately, to create a Manifesto for ICAD membership moving forward. We hope to see you all there.
We posted about Rondell Westcott last week and here we are again..that’s because he is a fabulous individual that we very much enjoy hanging out with.
Rondell will be talking about equality and diversity at The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) Manifesto, and we are very much looking forward to hearing him speak to an Irish audience about what more we can do.
Next Wednesday after hearing Rondell, you can also hear Cian Tormey, DC Comics Exclusive Artist talk about his work, and most excitingly of all, a panel discussion with our very own Chris Cottam with Paul Reiser, (Mad About You, Aliens, Kominsky Method, Stranger Things) to discuss writing, and directing for comedy, with the inimitable Ger Roe, (Publicis), moderating.
We are planning to be at The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) Manifesto next Wednesday and Thursday, with bells on, (no pun intended!).
Hope to see you there where we can hear some interesting takes on Independence, Equality and Creativity.
The event is aimed at everyone in the creative industries to assert the power of Irish Independent creativity, to challenge ourselves in our storytelling and ultimately, to create a Manifesto for ICAD membership moving forward.

Back in 2020, pre pandemic, the very talented and lovely Chris Cottam shot this spot for Paddy Power at Cheltenham. Featuring the delightful Colm Meaney, it was filmed in very difficult circumstances, but still turned out pretty well.
Two years later, it has been updated and back on our screens. Thanks to The Public House and Windmill Lane Pictures
We would like to also note today our continued support for our Ukrainian film family, and all Ukrainians through the Irish Red Cross, and other methods. #standwithUkraine
Latest work from Pull The Trigger and Matthias Lebeer for An Post and Javelin Group. We were delighted to get to work with The Handmade Soap Company and Sneaker Cleaner on this.
A big thank you to everyone including Panavision Ireland and Teach Solais / Lighthouse
Finally a massive thank you to Outer Limits Post Production.

The Big Night In
Chris Cottam in isolation in LA, (with a pool, so we don’t feel too sorry for him!) remotely directed these films for the BBC, Children in Need.

Uber x MADD 'Reasons To Ride'
In Phil Montgomery's latest work we see him team up with Uber and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving), to give us this important message.
They are cleverly highlighting the excuses people use when drinking and driving and calling on all of us to travel safely after drinking.
McDonnells Chip Curry
Chris Cottam strikes again. This one's certainly getting our Friday night take away juices flowing. Margaret can feic off and leave us to curry chip in peace!
