Crazy Ad Campaigns a 🧵 Part 1

Thankfully we don't see too many campaigns like this anymore but it's quite shocking that this was given the go ahead in 2010. 👨🏻‍💻🫠

The cost of the campaign was €500k and it's unknown what the damage to the brand's reputation would have been. 💰

I personally think campaigns like this have no place in advertising given the content featured being clealry objectifying women in sport. ❌

The newly refurbished rooftop terrace was the perfect venue to talk all about my role as Group Marketing Manager with Mutual Enterprises Limited and how to utilise social media marketing effectively for a business. 👨🏻‍💻

Celebrating joining the 29 club today 🎂

Really excited for the last year of my 20s and have a lot of exciting plans in the works. 🥳

If there's one thing I've learned over the past few years it's that's life is short and if you've got a dream you might as well chase it! ✌️

Creator marketing has become an essential tool for businesses to reach their target audiences in an effective way. 🤳🏼

It's very interesting to see the primary business goals for utilising creators with both engagement and reach being the key drivers. 🚀

Personally I think the two main goals which will increase in the coming years will be revenue and content creation. 📸

While revenue is an obvious driver I think businesses will start to really measure the effectiveness of their creator use and it's links to revenue which so far has been largely either not measured or not paid enough at attention. The market has grown and overall costs for using creators has increased which will lead to more scrutiny from businesses in terms of their spend.

In terms of content creation businesses have never been more active online with businesses of all shapes and sizes now competing for attention online. Content creation is a key differentiator for businesses and utilising creator style UGC is a great way to do so. It's also a really important way to maximise the return on investment when utilising a creator.

A look into the world electric vehicle market share!

As more and more people make the switch to electric vehicles the majority of major vehicle manufacturers have made the switch to producing fully electric vehicles in the coming years. ⚡️

Currently this is proving challenging as while the technology is in place the infrastructure needed is a long way away from being fit for purpose. 🛣️

There has been a huge reduction also in the grants available to customers to purchase these vehicles and it will be interesting to see what way the market responds to further cuts coming down the line. 💰

There is also a significant concerns with both the battery lifespan and the environmental impact these new batteries have. 🔋

Personally I think hybrid vehicles are the way to go until the infrastructure and capabilities are fully up to scratch. Let me know what you think in the comments below. ⬇️
