The Wren’s Day 🎭 💫 Every year on 26th December (St Stephen’s Day), the streets of Di**le burst into colour, music and mischief as the ancient tradition of Wren’s Day comes alive.
Dating back hundreds of years, the Wren Boys parade through the town in elaborate straw masks and costumes, playing music, dancing and spreading festive cheer.

Once believed to bring good luck for the year ahead, this uniquely Irish celebration remains proudly preserved today by four local Wren groups, keeping the spirit of community, storytelling and folklore alive on the Di**le Peninsula.
