Can you guess what it is? ๐
We would like to wish all our awesome customers and followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ๐
2021 was a great year for us and without you guys, we wouldnโt be where we are now - thank you so much! ๐

Have you ever wondered what our off-the-shelf courses look like?
These are courses that have been pre-built and cover a particular subject. Once purchased, your team can log into our learning management system to complete their course ๐ป
For organisations with a small training budget (who maybe are unable to create custom eLearning courses themselves), off-the-shelf eLearning can be a big help in educating teams on a wide range of common topics ๐

We almost feel mean only showing you the sneakiest of sneak peeks at an exciting project we've been working on...
We couldn't resist, this may be the funkiest eLearning design we've ever produced using After Effects and Adobe Photoshop ๐จ
This week, Rachael shares a couple of reasons why we use animation in eLearning ๐
โก๏ธ Make learning more engaging - Animations can bring e-Learning to life by making it a lot more memorable for the learner. By having dynamic content on screen, the learner is less likely to get distracted.
โก๏ธ Easily updated - Live action video can be become outdated and can be expensive to reshoot. Animation on the other hand won't date as quickly and can be easily edited. For example, we can quickly switch out characters and backgrounds.
โก๏ธ Better explain complex ideas - Animation is a lot more versatile than live video, enabling you to explain complicated or near impossible ideas through visuals.
โก๏ธ Call to attention - If you want the learner to look at a certain part of the screen to highlight an important piece of information, animation could be a great way to achieve this.

Are your employees not getting engaged enough with learning content - maybe it's all a bit 'read the text, click on next'?
Is this helping anyone in your team learn better? ๐
Whiteboard animations on the other hand have a higher engagement rate! They combine voiceover, visual animations and sounds to create memorable content for your learners.
๐ก They better explain complex subjects and ideas.
๐ก Take advantage of how our brains digest information.
๐ก Empower your team - help them understand the learning better, or even maybe deliver a great story that showcases the benefits of your product/service.

We've all been in one of 'those' situations at work where maybe our emotions are running high and the slightest little thing really grinds our gears! Maybe a customer snapped at you unfairly, or your boss gave you more work when you were already overloaded... ๐คฏ
Having angry emotional outbursts at work isn't great, so how do we control our feelings before they control us?
You can learn what makes you angry, recognise certain triggers and remind ourself of your coping mechanisms ๐
At ThinkBiscuit we can provide an eLearning course that covers how to deal with anger and how to express your concerns effectively at work.

We have all sat through an 'explainer' video. People often tolerate a mediocre video, but will rapidly reach for the kill-switch on anything that sounds fuzzy and annoying... ๐ญ๐ฃ
Instead, we'll surf YouTube until we find something that doesnโt bother our ears.
At ThinkBiscuit, we use voiceover in our explainer videos to captivate and engage learners. Our voiceover artists know how to create a positive learning atmosphere, using a friendly and warm tone to enhance the learning experience.
Check out the video below, narrated by one of our professional voiceover artists Daniel Richardson.
