BVP have supplied a video as part of the display for this celebration. The video is of a car going up Bell Street and into the tunnel, then out the other side. It was originally transferred by BVP from a black and white cine film, one of our specialities. There will be a video about the tunnel projected onto the side of The Market Hotel at 9.15 pm Saturday, watch out for the donkeys!

BVP have taken the decision to no longer make Reigate History documentaries available through Vimeo, unfortunately the cost of hosting them is not being covered by purchases. BVP TV will therefore cease on 24 June 2023. There are three 60 min long documentaries about Reigate containing information not available elsewhere - two about Reigate Priory and one with archive footage of Redhill and Reigate. So now is your last chance to download them.

Cine films transferred to digital in time for Christmas.

Here's a little film I transferred from standard 8mm cine film of Earlswood Lakes being dredged by traction engine. I guess it was filmed in the 1960s but I do not know exactly when, it was obviously a very cold winter! Does anybody know the year please?
