At last! I have just managed to catch up on my biggest ever editing backlog after the most insane couple of months of work. So far this has been my busiest ever year and whilst I am pretty knackered, I have enjoyed every job so thank you to all my amazing clients for being so patient. Now I need to start on my admin backlog!!

Almost didn’t make it to today thanks to the train strike but I’m really glad to have made it, what a treat and an inspiration 👌🏻.
I had to jump out of bed early this morning to photograph the amazing light on my door ♥️. Also a little bit of love for the bush I walk past on the way to the park every morning with 😍
I got a few stings picking nettles and wild flowers to make this cake for our vegetable themed bake off at the street party and it somehow won despite smelling of compost! It tastes of lemons though thankfully
It doesn't get much more British than this - our street managed to have a fantastic party on Saturday despite the weather - we have the best neighbours in Reading!
Small office disaster today, I was in the middle of editing when my chair decided to completely fall to bits 🤦🏻♀️. Sadly I was also having a cup of tea so my keyboard might be a casualty as well. Sigh.

Sisters are brewing it for themselves again - I really enjoyed a fun packed day at Double Barrelled for International Women's Day - launching a delicious new beer, Couplers and brewing a new one which I can't wait to try. 🍻
This week I really enjoyed working with the marvellous Red Cape Theatre making promotional shots for their latest play, On Track - it's an absolutely fantastic play about a single mother facing the challenges of lockdown and learning to love the freedom of cycling again, I would highly recommend seeing it if you get the chance - currently on tour... https://www.redcapetheatre.co.uk/ontrack

My favourite way to take a break when I'm staring at my computer all day it to do the daily Worldle - it's just like Wordle but you have to guess the country shown. It not only helps my geography but if I have time I like to virtually visit the country on Google Maps - it reminds me just how beautiful this planet is and I feel like I have been for a mini holiday on my lunchbreak. So far my favourite place is Mauritania - absolutely fascinating - check out the Eye of the Sahara on Google Maps! Here are a selection of my favourite virtual holiday snaps....

I'm celebrating World Photography Day today by working on a big and varied stack of editing from a selection of really lovely jobs from the last month. I've been extremely busy with a lot of properties to shoot amongst other things - I love that no two days are ever the same in this job!
It's always fun to find a way around a challenge - this week I had to bring some work home so that I can look after my dog as she's just had an operation so I wasn't able to shoot on location. Normally I would use studio lights for this kind of set up but I thought the contrast and brightness from the beautiful sunshine would work well for this set up. 👍 The best bit was sampling the product at the end of a hot hot shoot 🍻 cheers
