🚨 🚨 New CEMAC Bank Notes 🚨 🚨

New CEMAC Bank Notes To Commence Circulation Today December 15th 2022.

The new bank notes come 20 years after the previous bank notes of 2002. It should be noted that, the bank notes of 2002 will still be valuable. BEAC will commence withdrawal from circulation from June 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, bank notes of 1992 will be exchanged at commercial banks and BEAC counters from March 1, 2023 to May 31, 2023, a period of 3 months.

From June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024, bank notes of 1992 will be exchanged ONLY at BEAC counters. From June 1, 2024, old bank notes of 1992 will no longer be exchanged at BEAC counters.

I want to express my affection for my country and the national team. Yesterday I was not allowed to be on the ground to help Cameroon as I always do, to achieve the team's goals. I've always behaved in a way to lead the team to success in a good manner.

I put in all efforts and energy into finding solutions to a problem that a footballer often experiences, but there has been no will on the other side. Some moments are difficult to assimilate. However, I always respect the decisions of the people in charge of pursuing the success of our team and country.

I extend all my strength to my teammates, because we demonstrated that we can go very far in this competition.

The values I promote as an individual and as a player are the ones that identify me, and that my family has given me since my childhood. Representing Cameroon has always been a privilege. The nation first and forever! Thank you!"

“When I chose Switzerland, I always had this part of me that wanted to represent my native country. But we can't do like in clubs where we play for two different nations. I am Cameroon's number one fan. I have many friends in the National team. We sometimes find ourselves on vacation in Cameroon. This is a special game for me and my whole family. There will be a lot of emotions around this game

“Most of my family lives in Cameroon. I try to go there once or twice a year to keep this link with Cameroon. It's important not to forget where I come from."

“When I had to make a choice between Switzerland & Cameroon, It was a difficult moment.I put this decision on hold for a few months.I even had the opportunity to join Cameroon. It wasn't an easy choice, but my family respected my choice, that's the most important thing."
