A world record attempt is coming to Oldham! ๐๐๐บAround 2,500 young dancers from across the borough and beyond will perform with a singer in Boundary Park next year all to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of Rob Burrow, who died earlier this month.
The event, set to take place before a Roughyeds match next year, was announced at the stadium today with representatives from those organising the attempt, as well as Oldham RLFC and Latics chairman Frank Rothwell.

Fire services were in attendance after a driver crashed into multiple parked cars in Chadderton before flipping their vehicle.
Video posted by local residents on Facebook shows a black car ploughing into multiple parked vehicles on a quiet Chadderton street before flipping over in the middle of the road.
Residents who recorded the incident say the crash occurred just after 5.30am this morning (Thursday, May 9) on Middleton Road, near the Inglewood Road side street.

Residents have have expressed their shock after a shooting on an Oldham street.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers were called to an address on Prince Edward Avenue in Clarksfield at around 1am, and have confirmed shots were fired in what is thought to have been a "targeted attack".
No injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.

Police chase burglary suspect after helicopter helps track them down.
This is the moment a man reportedly 'stole' a cherry picker in Chadderton this morning in a scene witnesses described as 'something out of Grand Theft Auto'.
At approximately 1.50am on Wednesday, police were called to reports of a man driving a cherry picker near Chadderton Town Hall.
Police were initially called to Russell Street, though video footage captures a man using the cherry picker on Middleton Road.
