Finalsite are one of our long term clients and they approached us as someone they trusted to explain their company offer reflecting their clean and refined style. The result was this explainer animation which was devised and delivered in house.

We started discussing the idea of a short film with the Click last year, their only brief was to create something in the vein of our documentary work... Oh and they didn't want to feature in it. The result is a film about the Clicks process and the creation a brand, from the perspective of their clients. It was great working with a client who trusted us enough to be hands-off through the large chunk of the process, and to follow our instinct of what would make a compelling story about their work.

Thanks to The Click and to Erika, Robert, Lucy and Steve who kindly gave their time and expertise to the film.

Annu's moving on!

She has overseen huge changes in the company and, moving through various production roles up to Head Of Production, has been an organisational extraordinaire as well as being a core part of our creative team at Eye Film. On top of that she has brought too many good vibes, an infectious love of dogs, unparalleled parallel parking, along with never forgetting a birthday or missing a chance to celebrate! Good luck Annu, we will miss you!

Very proud to have won these.

We won! We were surprised to win not one but two awards at the Royal Television Society East event in Cambridge last month.

Discovering the Gloucester won Specialist Factual and our film for Town Close won Promotional Film. A wonderful recognition of the whole team's hard work. So good to have Lincoln, Claire and Ben from the Gloucester project with us for the night too... They brought the story to us and brought the film to life!

A brilliant evening with so much local talent being recognised, proud as always to be part of this growing community.

Thrilled to be nominated for 3 RTS awards at tomorrow's event!

From shipwrecks to cutting edge driving simulators, we have been nominated for both documentary and commercial projects. The standard of competition is very high this year with so many great films and production companies from the region in the running, feels like a great honour to be nominated amongst them.

We are looking for illustrators or graphic designer to help with asset creation for a project for the Norwich Castle. These assets will be used to create a series of animated scenes shown within a short documentary film which will be featured as part of the new displays in the newly refurbished and renovated Norwich Castle Museum once open!

Capturing the visual language and style of 11th and 12th Century medieval manuscripts is really key to this project, so if you are interested, please email [email protected] and we can provide references, further information and project rates.

Town Close School had seen our work with Compendia, using layering and split screen, and wanted to see how we could incorporate that into a fun and inspiring film about the school. We worked with their marketing team to script the voice over and it was spoken by a group of talented young pupils.

"We now require another green revolution, which is more sustainable, and reduces the impact of agriculture on the environment."

We set out to help John Innes Centre creatively highlight the amazing work and learning on their MSc course, as well as the global climate crises. The aim was to frame the environmental problem quickly and keep it engaging, which we achieved using a combination of our own filming and stock footage.

Colorifix are on a mission to change the fashion industry by revolutionising the dying process. 🎨

A couple of years ago we set out to make a dynamic brand film that reflected the excitement, experience and energy of a company that is rapidly growing in size and impact. Colorifix wanted the voice of the whole company reflected, not just the founders, so the project involved a lot of interviews (and editing!) to create a film that would explain the problems the industry faced and the solution Colorifix offered.

"Fishermen to Kings" 2018

In 2018 Eye got the opportunity to work with portrait photographer Rankin in a film about Sheringham’s famous photographer Olive Edis. 📸

As part of the film Rankin was shooting scenes in Edis's old studio in South Street where he was using her original camera to take pictures of Lord of the Rings star Bernard Hill. “Olive took photographs in her studio using only natural light and it's quite a challenge using her camera that's over a century old to emulate her style,” said Rankin. “Olive was a pioneer of portrait photography and one of only a handful of female photographers making their mark in a male world. Her work is hugely inspiring for what I do today.”

Directed by Clive Dunn.
