Wednesday’s Available!

We have a vacancy for Tuesday’s in our rehearsal space in Heaton. The space is ideal for a 3-5 piece band that practice regularly and want a clean and well equipped room to use. The room will be shared by four bands who have reserved nights Monday-Thursdays. Fridays-Sunday are shared and can be reserved for additional practices via a Google Calendar free of charge. The room has a large selection of quality microphones and a mixer that can be used as a USB interface, making it perfect for bands interested in DIY recording.

Rent is £150 PCM

We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new professional studio. Located in Heaton, The Empty Avocado is Newcastle’s newest and most affordable, recording studio. With a large selection of high quality microphones, amplifiers, drum kit and percussion instruments, we have everything you need to bring your musical ideas to life. To start things off we are offering a special introductory rate.

£30 for an evening session (5-late) or,
£60 for a full day session!

This is the perfect opportunity to get great sounding recordings of you band or solo project to impress promoters and make sure you’ll be ready when live shows start up again. On site recording also available.

We currently have vacancies at The Empty Avocado rehearsal room. Located in Newcastle’s iconic Ouseburn Valley, The Empty Avocado is an all inclusive rehearsal room shared by a small number of trusted bands. Included in the monthly rent is access to:
PA over 1000 watts RMS of power
16 Channel mixer/recording interface
iMac with Logic Pro X
Selection of microphones
Drum kit, with house breakables available
Ampeg bass amp
Guitar cables, power supplies and XLRs
Storage for large amps and other hard to move items
Nights currently available are Tuesdays, and Fridays. For £60 per month you will have access to the room for one night per week. Occasional weekend rehearsals may be available for extra practice before shows, recording demos, etc. There will be a group chat with the other bands should you need to swap nights and for any other issues you may have. As a member, you will receive discounts to our recording services at our professional studio in Heaton.

After a very long year we’re all excited for the return of live music, group functions, wedding receptions and DJ sets. To help you celebrate I have limited time special offers for all your sound needs. Here’s what I can offer you!

PA system featuring:

-Full back line, including guitar and bass amplifiers, drum shells and hardware

This set up is perfect for and small to medium venue and I can promise you won’t find a better price anywhere in the North East. Rates are per night as follows:

PA rental with vocal microphone included: £80

Set up for full bands with lights: £100

Set up for full bands with lights and back line: £120

I also offer on site recording of bands, choirs, ensembles and solo artists. Prices range from £60-£100 a day depending on the setup required. Reduced rate for multiple days. Use of my sound treated studio available but subject to availability.
