Dog & Trumpet

Dog & Trumpet Embracing all good musicians and composers, performance venues and media: Dog & Trumpet celebrates music with pedigree.

The UK channel for Warner Classics and Erato Dog & Trumpet is a long-established nickname for the original painting by Francis Barraud in 1899 entitled “Dog looking at and listening to a Phonograph” (aka ‘Nipper’). The Gramophone Company first used the image to advertise its Gramophone record players, and soon appeared on its “His Master’s Voice” record labels. Today, it remains one of the best-loved brands in recorded music history. Dog & Trumpet celebrates music with pedigree.
