Questa settimana le notti di Battiti si aprono con il suono ipnotico e ossessivo della messicana J Zunz, ancora su Rocket Recordings , con la riflessione sull’errore (non solo) digitale della violoncellista Flavia Massimo con un album per Audiobulb e la dimensione sorprendente tra jazz ed elettronica della bassista Anna Butterss, che esordisce in solo. Il ritmo è protagonista con le strutture minimali di “Extended Play 1 & 2” dei Tomaga , nell’incontro fra tradizione congolese ed elettronica spaziale di Nyati Mayi & Astral Synth Transmitters su Bongo Joe Records e nelle variazioni metereologiche tra elettronica e musica del Quarto Mondo nella ristampa di “Big Weather” del compositore Jeff Greinke. L’esordio di Coby Sey, “Conduit”, è disturbante e ci scuote le membra, gli Oneida tornano con un gran album rock col volume sempre sul rosso, alla voce free jazz rispondono Konstrukt e Peter Brötzmann con la ristampa del loro indimenticabile primo incontro, intitolato “Dolunay”. Da Tokyo via Berlino, il viaggio restando fermi è a cura dei Minami Deutsch, con la loro psichedelia a marchio Guruguru Brain dal ritmo espanso e variabile
