🎥 We had a huge amount of involvement in the filming for the second series of detective drama Suspect, which is currently airing on Channel 4.

🛥️ This included the provision of a wide range of boats, training cast members to drive vessels, the building of a bespoke temporary pontoon, and several days of shooting across many locations spanning the River Thames.

🙌 Another week, another unique first on the River Thames!

🛹 On the morning of Tuesday 26 March, Team GB’s youngest-ever Olympic medal winner, Sky Brown, showcased her dazzling skateboarding skills aboard the first-ever floating half-pipe on the Thames.

Following her extensive refurbishment in early 2023, Dart – which is one of the most uniquely-sized vessels on the Thames – soon went on hire to GPS MACS to play a key role in a major river-based demolition project.

🎬 The release of epic rowing film The Boys In The Boat – a film Livett’s renowned marine filming and coordination team were extensively involved in – is edging ever closer.

🚣 In this special featurette, director George Clooney and his team take an in-depth look at filming the Poughkeepsie Race scene – and reveal how a reservoir near Heathrow Airport was transformed to look like the Hudson River in New York.

This is one of the biggest scenes in the film, and one that Livett’s marine filming team were pivotal in bringing to life. Keep your eyes peeled and you may even spot our very own Ed Livett making a brief cameo too! 👇
