Today we announce the departure of our CEO, Paul Woolf.

Closing 15 years of service and dedication, Paul leaves behind an enormous legacy in this business.

As a pillar of strength Paul leadership has steered us through the 'Save Strongroom' development battle and of course the many challenges of the pandemic & subsequent cost of living crisis.

We will greatly miss Paul's infectious energy, we give him our deepest gratitude and hope you will join us in wishing him the very best for the future.

Turning to the business going forward, Strongroom will be run by Max Murdy-Flisher and Jake Murray with the full support of Richard Boote.

We're incredibly excited for this next chapter and thank you for your continued support

In case you missed it: Tom Walker recorded this huge choir version of ‘Burn’ in Strongroom 1🔥🎵 engineered by Eve Morris.

SR1 is a comfortable, colourful and inspiring option for larger ensembles. We can fit a 20-piece choir, full bands, jazz bands, string ensembles, brass sections and of course our grand piano sounds wonderful in there too.

Rivington Street Bar was buzzing with brilliance and talent during the IWD Tune In Women event co-hosted by MMF (Music Managers Forum UK)and Music Producers Guild - MPG ! 🤩

It was truly special to have met new industry leaders for a quick mixer in the Strongroom Bar
and a tour of SR2, SR3, and the new SR4 (led by Ella Harris and Katie Foreman).

We were honoured to host the experience - elevating change-makers in creating spaces for the inclusion & empowerment of women and non-binary peoples.

Thank you to everyone who came; we can’t wait to see around again for another session or social soon! 👀🎶

A bumper feature this week! Introducing you to the refurbished Strongroom 4, one of many developements celebrating 40 years of Strongroom, since 1984:

Centred around a stunning API 1608 and an M2 Ultra Mac Studio with ( ) Barefoot footprint 01 monitors, SR4 is designed for today’s generation of engineers, producers and self-producing artists in mind! It is fast, fun, simple, clean and creative.

A fantastic range of outboard mic pres including ( ) AMS-Neve 1073, Avalon VT737 ( ) (and ( )API of course), compressors (incl Urei 1178, Empirical Labs Distressors, dbx 160, Tubetech CL1b ( )) and EQs (Tubetech PE1c and API) make it ideal for writing & production, recording and overdubbing.

Other effects for sculpting and mangling your sounds include the heavenly Bricasti M7 ( ), a classic ( ) Eventide H3000, ( ) TC Electronic M2000 and a plate reverb, and our usual arsenal of floating toys of course.

The live room houses a characterful vintage Chappell upright piano, a vintage Beverly Galaxy 21 drumkit courtesty of producer/engineer Drew ( ) and is renowned for producing an intimate, snappy drum sound🥁

Additional synths include the Yamaha DX7, ( ) Oberheim Matrix 1000, ( ) Nord Rack Synth and absolutely everything in Komplete 14 controllable via an S61 and Maschine courtesy of our friends at !

It was an incredible time and experience to have Signature Brew and Dynamite MC here with us!

We enjoyed the amazing process of getting everyone setup for this fun collaborative experience from the photoshoot around Strongroom and the interview up in Studio 3 talking music and beer!
