What an insane start to Virus 25 The Season! Big ups to everyone that joined us at The Steel Yard for what is only the beginning!

Everyone tore the place to pieces! Did you catch the P X L P S H R visuals? And the Trendkill Arch was popping off open to close.

We can't wait to show you what we have in store for you next ;)

Part 2 is going to be a wild clash of the the labels, dubplate crazy!

Part 3... well Mefjus came down last week and played an amazing set, who is the Special Guest on this one? All we can say is they are already planning their set and super psyched. Plus it's an all Virus family affair, so you would be mad to miss out.

We saved the best for last!

2 Rooms of Virus sound, with uncompromising bass and crazy visuals.

We've invited some of our closest label friends Audio, BTK, InsideInfo & Prolix plus some amazing guests including Bailey, Harriet Jaxxon, DJ Empress & Zombie Cats.

Oh and we forgot to say if there was ever a duo for the power hour end to Virus 25 the Season we had to get Burr Oak to come and slam that system to the Thames and back. Hope you're ready!

And finally there is the small deal about the Unannounced guest, we aren't allowed to say much but we're just going to say they're pretty unique and a bit of a wizard behind the decks!

3rd November sees a monumental collaboration between us and one of our favourite labels in the scene celebrating 20 years in the game, Blackout!

Black Sun Empire will be joining us alongside one of the biggest line ups in Neuro that the UK has seen in years.

Flying from the other side of the world are State of Mind & The Upbeats to join in the celebrations plus Neonlight will also be flying in from Europe!

Ed Rush will be joined by Audio for a special Killbox set and the 2 brothers Optical & Matrix will be rolling back through the years for a special b2b.

Warming up on the night will be one of the fastest rising DJ's in the scene Mel.

Room 2 see's a new label taking the world by storm Evolution Chamber who are bringing over a whole host of label friends the room is set to be turned upside down the whole night.

Virus 25 The Season launches with a monumental event with some legendary names and some of our best friends and family!

The original legend and our personal favourite, Grooverider! jumps on board to do a special Protoype Recordings set, the most pioneering label of the 90's and he is one of the originators of the DnB scene!!!

Then we have a next level out-of-this-world b2b that we have been missing out on for too long....so we made it happen....Kemal and Rob Data a.k.a Konflict!

If you take the soundsystem in The Steel Yard and these 2 acts alone that should have you ready to go completely bonkers!

Rounding off the bill in the main room are original Virus Recordings family crew, Cause 4 Concern and Gridlok, plus rising star Youphoria.

Oh and how could we forget a naughty unannounced guest alongside their favourite MC! They will have the arches absolutely losing it bigtime for sure!

Prolix brings his label Trendkill to host Room 2 and after packing out Arch 2 like never before last time, we had to have them back.

A special b2b with DC Breaks and then label mainstays Mob Tactics and TRCD join the bill but we're particularly hyped to be welcoming back Silent Witness. He's thrown it down multiple times for us in the past and we can't wait for this time around. Hijak and Dark D will be on host duties.

Recorded between 1997 and 1998 by Ed Rush & Optical, the album was released on the 16 November 1998 on Virus Recordings, in vinyl and CD formats. The CD edition was a double disc, the second disc containing an hour-long continuous mix while the LP was a five-disc boxset, with a single track per side. “Splinter” by Fortran was a collab with Ed Rush, Optical and Fierce. The recordings were produced and mixed in Optical's custom built studio, based in Rob Playford's Moving Shadow offices, St Anne's Court, SOHO, London. The final mastering was done by Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, London

Wormhole is considered to be the very first LP in the Neurofunk Genre and is a widely regarded drum and bass scene classic

We are releasing a super thoughtfully created high quality 5 x Vinyl boxset to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original release with the original artwork and inner sleeves and top quality vinyl and a lovely 16 page booklet with lots of photos and art and words from everyone involved in making the record happen

As we're approaching the event, The Steel Yard is suffering from the internet gremlins. Please bring cash with you to avoid any issues at the bar and merchandise. There are cash machines at Canon Street, sorry for any hassle caused.
