It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the passing of one of our founder members Barry Hester. Many of you would have seen Baz in some if not all of our productions over the years. He was such a talented guy with genius comic timing and a creative flair that gives Rejects Productions such an edge. He was in the middle of the national tour of Elf over Christmas when he was sadly taken ill. True talent often leaves us way too early and Barry was only 54. For myself, Baz was like a brother to me and when we were young we set up The Reject Society along with our other great mate Stephen Moyer.

Baz had directed and was to appear in our forthcoming production of Fur Coat No Knickers at The Headgate Theatre and we hope you will understand that we have had to postpone this until later in the year.

Our thoughts are also with Barry’s wife Clare his children Jack, Charlotte and Lizzie and of course his Mum and sister Jo! X
