Yesterday, I represented YANGG and as a member of the United Nations association Westminster branch for an incredible dialogue with the Ambassador: HE Mr Ioannis Tsaousis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic of Greece.
During the meeting, HE Mr Tsaousis spoke extensively about Applied Diplomacy, a process of setting goals and identifying appropriate tools for the implementation of foreign policy.
I had the privilege to enquire from the ambassador the kind of relationship that exists between Greece, some African nations, and Nigeria precisely.
He spoke about the place of Africa in global politics and diplomatic processes.
Prior to his current position, he had served as Director of the Diplomatic Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, following service at NATO in Brussels, in Cyprus, South Africa and at the UN in Geneva.
The meeting is a joint project of the Westminster United Nations Association Young Professionals and the National Liberal Club Commonwealth and European Forums.

I had an amazing time during the weekend at the London and Southeast Region of the United Nations Association (LASER) Policy Conference.

I had the opportunity to share the great work we do at YANGG, learn, network, and connect with outstanding individuals who are passionate about global issues and working together to proffer sustainable solutions.

During the conference, I took a stand in calling for global peace and stability in a bid for us to mitigate the rising surge of asylum seekers across the globe.
Our world needs to heal, and we all must serve as major actors.

Passing the Torch - A Momentous Transition

Today, we stand on the precipice of a new chapter in our organization's history. As I address you for the last time as the President of YANGG, it is with a profound sense of gratitude and humility that I reflect upon the incredible journey we've undertaken together.

Having the opportunity to lead as a young person has given me the understanding of our collective responsibility to shape the world of our dream. My leadership was not void of mistakes and challenges, but I relentlessly persisted in exercising my abilities in the best way I could.

History is punctuated by moments where youth-led movements have sparked trans-formative change. From advocating for civil rights to addressing environmental challenges, we the youths have proven time and again that we are catalysts for progress.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to all members of our great organization.
Your unwavering support has been the driving force behind our accomplishments over the past 5years. Serving as your president has been the greatest honour of my life, and I am grateful for the trust you've placed in me.

I must also extend my heartfelt thanks to the dedicated individuals who have worked tirelessly in service to this movement. From the members of the board to our devotedgloball members, you have been the backbone of progress. Each of you has played a vital role in shaping whatever achievement we have today.

As I look back on the past 5years, I am filled with pride for what we have achieved together. We have faced challenges head-on, celebrated triumphs, and forged a path toward a better future. Our collective efforts have strengthened the foundations of this great team.

As I step aside, it is my sincere hope that the progress we've made will endure and that the vision we share for this organization's future will continue to guide us. Today, I am filled with optimism as I pass the torch to a leader who embodies the values and aspirations of YANGG.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am honoured to introduce the next president of YANGG Kelechi Ndieze He brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a profound commitment to the well-being of YANGG. I have every confidence that under his leadership, YANGG will continue to thrive.

To the incoming administration, I offer my support and cooperation. The challenges we face are great, but so too is the resilience of Africans . It is my fervent wish that, in the face of adversity, we will stand united as a team. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and forge a path toward a brighter future.

In conclusion, let me express my deepest gratitude once again. It has been an incredible honour to serve as the president of YANGG. As I bid farewell, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and a profound sense of optimism for the journey that lies ahead.

May God bless you all, and may God continue to bless Young Africans Network for Global Goals.
