The Dance Troupe's Profile

Young Starz of Afrika Arts Academy is an acclaimed professional children/teens based dance theatre company with the sole aim of building talents and to bring performing art to life. We provide an equal spectrum and theoretical practice of African and modern dances. The troupe equally situates itself within the propagation of art in African context. The troupe is aimed

at creating a variable platform for multi cultural interactions via its relevant choreographic work. We are based in Lagos Nigeria with a world class spirit in the world of performing art. The entity with the objective of educating and transforming the populace was established on the 30th day of September 2013 by a young, dynamic and vibrant lover of art by name Anthony Yusuf with the aim of empowering our Nigerian youths / teens on the importance of talents, creativity and to Say No to Social Vices. The group is also set to promote societal development through art and to the eradication of social vices amongst our youths. Most of our youths out there blame the government for their hapless state; which is not supposed to be so.

“With your hands on paper, you can produce words for the future”. “With your imaginations, creative thinking and God’s given talent you can come up with something positive that will benefit the society”. The above named art organization was established for the purpose of building talents via performing art and also to preach the gospel of youths and teenage emancipation from social vices.
