To continue sharing my recent work let’s talk Cataclysm as I’m currently mixing a live set from these guys and im about to start work on the second album. This band is paving the way in the genre of Doom Gaze… not sure if its an official subgenre yet…. But these guys are it! Huge ethereal guitars. Bi amped bass with an octave up split! Killer vocals that are very unique and massive drums! If you havnt checked this record out yet, definitely get your ears on it. It is absolutely monstrous! They have only a few copies left on there Bandcamp, grab one if ya fancy it!

Something a bit different this time. All synths and drums! Null/Void.

Proper brutal industrial vibes! The band had recorded the core components of this themselves and then let me loose on the mix. Projects like this i love. Getting to do absolutely slamming drums, and pushing the synths to the absolute limits, also utilising what ive learnt from my Big Lad and Petbrick projects. Its so fun to transform the bands ideas into something fully formed and really crushing! 100% industrial vibes! If you like all the weird and wonderful industrial stuff that is going on out there at the moment definitely check this one out!

Next up! - It Gets Worse. Working with these two is awesome, this is the second record we worked on together and this time we really pushed the boat out with the noise, filth and feedback!

leaning into the process of building tracks in the studio, we really had alot of fun expanding the sonic world of the band on this one definitely adding a slight industrial edge! If you’ve caught the duo live you know what an absolute thunderous racket they make together, and I think this record really captures the power and the noise of the band! Released on the ever excellent they only have a few copies left over on there bandcamp! Go grab one now!

The journey of the studio extension is sooo very nearly complete, anyone thats been into the studio over the last 6 months hopefully has enjoyed the changes, its an awesome space to work in now!

Ive been a bit behind in sharing some of records I’ve worked on that have recently been released. There has been some absolute belters! So to start with - Feel Worse!
Ive been working with these guys since their first album, this is album 6 i believe! We had a a bit more time to work on this record than some of the previous albums (I think we did Sonic Moist in 1 day pretty much!) , the shift to a slightly more produced, noisier and complex sounding album made this one my favourite to work on so far! It was a super fun process putting this one together, some of the songs where more pieced together than previous albums and we were working with bits recorded in other spaces, weirder synthy bits and drum machine stuff whilst keeping a good eye on creating a super rad, cohesive record! Its a very fun process if you lean into it as we did here! Its banger after banger - Also so stoked to see it land on

I’ve realised ive been recording bands 10 years in Haggerston, 10 awesome years!

Its been a trip so far! I get the keys to the warehouse this eve, got pals coming to help me clear the space tomorrow! Waaaaahh bigger studio incoming!

At the end of next week i get the keys to 3000sq ft warehouse in Haggerston! Im gonna be expanding the studio, this is a new realllyy exciting moment for the studio! The live room will be more than doubling in size by the end of the year and ill be combining my home studio with my main studio so my synth collection will be all in one place for the first time it should be pretty wild!

Along side this im going to building a second music production suite, that will be available to rent on a time share kind of basis, so to any of my music pals out there if this tickles your fancy drop me a line and i can fill you in on details…

Plus i will also be building a studio type flat situation for someone to rent, it will be shared kitchen and Bathroom with just myself.. but youll have your own v large room with a mezzanine for a bed. Im looking at about £900 a month all in inc council tax etc. (except electricity) for the living space. Holla at me if there is anyone out there that is interested in this!

Had an awesome chat with the Devils Mouth earlier this week about work, ma bands, whats coming, also played some bangers that influenced me over the years!

If you take a peek at the graphic we normally use to promote the episodes on social media for this one, you'll see there's not a lot of space left with all those Wayne-related logos, from his Bear Bites Horse studio to Petbrick, the new and amazing JAAW, Wasted Death, Big Lad and so many more - and....
