A big congratulations to our talented director Markus Meedt, who has had a great month!

His short screenplay "A dead cartographer's uncertain guide to space travel" won best Short Screenplay at PlanetCinema Film Festival! 🪐

Markus also co-wrote a screenplay with Catherine O'Shea, which has reached the quarterfinals of the prestigious Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting competition 📝

Last but certainly not least, his short film Frankie and Benny is screening in competition at the North Greenwich Film Festival! 🎥

The shoot starts in Guadalajara, before heading to Tequila and ending up in Colima later next week 🌵

BRITA are on a mission to get the UK to turn their backs on bottled water in this new campaign directed by featuring Inbetweeners and White Gold star, James Buckley ⭐

They’re arguing that in order to ditch the bottles and reduce our plastic consumption, we should try BRITA water filters instead, which "can make your water taste just as good, minus the plastic waste.” Can't argue with that!

As many of you know, we've recently been hard at work on an epic TVC for Kraken Rum, and we're so excited to show you the final result 🤩

Over the next few days, we’ll go into detail about how we brought elements like story, set design, VFX, lighting, camera and stunts together to create 30 seconds of serious action! 🎬

Fight Gravity are super excited to welcome a new director to our roster! 🎉

, or Helen’s work is imaginative and portrays a deep understanding of human movement, picked up through her extensive career in dance and theatre. The Cuban & Austrian director has an eye for visual storytelling; she likes “straight to the point” scripts, and camera language that captures the vitality of the narratives she chooses to portray.

Helen has worked with clients such as Vinted US & UK and Universal Music, along with directing and choreographing fashion films for independent labels. On top of her short-form work, Helen has dedicated the last 3 years to co-directing her debut feature documentary, Alma Anciana, about the beauty of growing old, which will premiere in 2023.

We spent our Thursday evening at the BFI IMAX yesterday for the preview of Carl Woods' feature documentary My Everest! 🤯

With over 400 tickets sold, this is such an amazing achievement for Carl and his team and we're so happy that all of their hard work over the years has paid off 🎉

The film is being shown in cinemas across the UK and also got a review from the Guardian, so check out the link in our story for tickets 🎫

The trailer for debut feature film, My Everest, is out now! 🎉 A physically disabled man treks to Everest Base Camp on horseback, yet when the mountain puts his life on the line, he's forced to question how far he's willing to go, just to fit in.

The film will be released in UK cinemas on April 28th and there'll be a special premiere screening on April 27th at the BFI IMAX in London (the biggest screen in the country 🤯)

Carl also recently gave a talk at the Manchester Film Festival with his colleague and disability consultant, Sam Oldknow, on the importance of collaborating with disabled voices in front of and behind the cameras.

Our director 's beautiful film starring .dan is being released in the US on ! 🤩

The film tells the story of Gabriel, a brilliant and virtuous but introverted teenager from the poor fishing community of Kalk Bay, who is pressured to steal two bags of abalone from a dead man by his jaded older brother Mikhail. The boys’ quest to sell the stolen goods leads them into the legendary Cape of Good Hope’s mountainous region, where they fight for their lives while being pursued by corrupt government officer, Peterson.

A huge congratulations to John and his team for this fantastic achievement! 🎉🎉🎉
