Owl In Space creates thoughtful content which explores our perceptions of reality.

At the beginning of 2017 Thomas Cozens began “owlinspace” with the intention that it would become “the home of thoughtful content”: a place where viewers on digital, social and broadcast networks might feel comfortable coming to ask their big questions about life, the universe and everything. The team of academics, writers, directors, musicians, and producers grew quickly, creating “thoughtshorts”
as their first public offering. thoughtshorts cover culturally relevant topics like mental health, beauty, and truth, taking the form of 2 minute films released on the first Sunday of every month. With the advent of owlinspace’s sister brand “owlinspace media”, the team used their expertise in “thoughtful content” to start consulting on, and producing content for companies, charities, and universities. owlinspace has worked with a variety of clients including Disney, Sony, Oasis, Licc, A Rocha, Cambridge University, Harvard University, MIT. In an age marked by apathy, shallow tolerance, and post truth, Owl In Space aims to inspire thoughtful contemplation, exploring questions at the very core of our being.

MEET THE CAST: ADWOA AKOTO
Adwoa is a British-Ghanaian actress who had her breakthrough role as Young Lenora in Michaela Coel’s I MAY DESTROY YOU. She can also be seen in Sky’s THE LAZARUS PROJECT, TV Musical TOMORROW MORNING and HAPLESS S2 coming to Netflix in 2022. Akoto lives in London and also runs her own wellness brand Dwira.

MEET THE DIRECTOR: THOMAS PAUL COZENS
Born in 1989, Tom grew up during the technological revolution, which sparked his fascination with how technology shapes human stories. After graduating from Cambridge with a degree in Engineering, he became a pastor before furthering his studies and graduating in Theology and Philosophy from Oxford. He then transitioned to media, founding Owl In Space and producing works such as "Science & Eternity," "The Future of Cities," and "Living Things." Most recently, "The Virtual Llama" demonstrates Tom’s unique blend of smart, spiritual Sci-Fi, probing deep questions about our evolving relationship with technology and AI.

Ozioma is a Nigerian-British Actor who graduated from LAMDA in 2020. Since graduating she landed a role on Netflix’s THE WITCHER: BLOOD ORIGINS PREQUEL and is currently filming YOU S4. In her free time she teaches LAMDA examinations and acting to small people.

We are a cross-disciplinary team of academics and creatives, who combine the simplicity of good storytelling with the insight of cutting edge research, to craft ‘thought leading’ films which connect hot topics with the questions we care about most.
