Ronnie Spiteri’s love for music, minus the fuss. Kenja Records has been releasing grooves filled with tectonic bass lines, punchy drums and hints of techno since 2015. Big sounds and vibes from all over are at the heart of the label – we’re talking South American, Latino, Aztec, Jungle and Mayan, all encapsulated by the history of house and the team's love for rolling grooves. ween techno and house and with a worldwide fanbase, Spiteri’s label is diverse and authentic, taking listeners from Ibiza afternoons through to nights on the South Coast of the UK and beyond. Kenja has firmly rooted itself as a provider of quality thumping cuts and has become well established across releases and events over the last seven years. Unchallenged for just under a decade, the label's adaptable grooves smoothly transition between peak time and warmup slots. The growth shows no signs of letting up, with recent involvement from Ronnie himself, along with Alan Fitzpatrick, Steve Lawler and Josh Butler, to name a few – not forgetting the label's commitment to nurturing new and upcoming artists.

2022 has been nothing short of a success for Kenja Records, seeing their most productive year of events thus far. Shows confirmed across England, Scotland, Australia and South America, plus events from Kenja Warehouse in Southampton and collaborations with The Motive in Bournemouth – running multiple nights on his home turf and further afield. What’s next for Kenja Records? 2023 looks to be a big year with events locked in some of the world's most iconic music destinations – from India to Australia, Ibiza and beyond. A 3rd studio album from Ronnie Spiteri is expected, along with a stack of new cuts with big names, more releases from fresh artists like Danish and Tom Hennessy, and so much more. The Yard Woman's a Techno DJ/Producer from Bristol. She gets excited by all things groovy, melodic and mystical. After years of clubbing in Bristol, she wanted to transfer some of that Bristol 'energy' into her own productions. This is her brilliant debut release on Ronnie Spiteri's Kenja Records. The lyrics of this track express this nostalgic feeling that comes round towards the end of a night filled with dancing, music and new connections. 90’s inspired atmospheric synths carry the track, while chopped vocal samples can be heard in the background inspired by Maya Jane Cole's vocal processing style. Matching the mood of this track The Yard Woman and the label envisage it reaching open-air clubs and beach bars this summer
