Debut Death Knell's Steel String Thing album out on 23rd of March!

Set West, Raising Hell is actually coming out! 23rd March/a month today via , recorded & mixed by w/ band featuring ‘s Sam Davies, ’s Finn Kidd & James Fry + 💀

Digital release will be accompanied by lyric booklet/zine of lyrics w/handwritten annotations & stamped sigils that I’ve been showing off in previous post series, to order affordably 💀

WHAT’S MORE: release show will be MARCH 30th (one week later) w/ support so far from & + more to be announced. My band will kick ass too, feat. ‘s Dom O’ Dair, of DIY & dad fame, the two Hatcham’s I got on my record & doing bv/Bez duties. 💀

WATCH NEW VIDEO RELEASE!! Death Knell's Steel String Thing releases new video for 2nd song from debut LP. The video is being released January 6th to coincide w/ Epiphany, first Full Moon of the year & Death Knell’s 33rd birthday. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DK!)

Video created by Nathalia Bruno (DRIFT/Index for Working Music), both artists live underground in a Hackney basement flat w/ video shot in DK’s bunker bedroom (that lacks natural light).

Death Knell's Steel String Thing is the new punkpoetry project of songwriter Noel Anderson (JC Flowers, Facel Vega, COP, ADVERT, Satellites of Love & Unwork Records).

‘Fortune St.’ was conceived on Whitecross St. market; where Lawrence from Felt can be regularly spotted & Knell was employed at a sh*tty job requiring 6:30am mornings. Genesis P.Orridge died early into 2020 (& all that entailed), coinciding with the anniversary of a tragedy for a close friend. Despite gathering gloom, recovery was a blooming process for DK & so the cauldron strikes an unusually optimistic tone.

Bot Opera (Beta) is Toby’s first full release solo album and is a collection of experiments written over a five-year period that were produced as part of an unfinished robot opera set in London parks, meditating on posthumanism, love, and friendship. The album features guest musicians Chris Cundy, Rachel Kenedy, Thomas Greene, Joanna Curwood, and Harry Love, and was made in various studios including Bark studio and Gallery 46.

There is a new Independent Label Market: London (Summer 2022) edition of **Creative Revolt Or Coma (C.R.O.C.)** zine which we will have with us at said market TOMORROW. COME SAY HI. And you can buy some things you have missed like Great Silkie hand lathed 7, Ben Maier ltd cassette EP. We will also be taking along some Fierce Panda records Hatcham Social new pink LPs. Come say hi meet some of our artists and writers and discuss what is upcoming with some new members of the community.
