Explore Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar through a new lens in the latest campaign for @apple directed by Sinan Sevinç.
Shot entirely on the iPhone 14, Sinan brings to life the hustle and bustle of the iconic market with a spot that whips through its stalls following a pair of skaters on a quest to perfect their tricks.
“Filming the campaign on the iPhone was completely different to using a normal cinematic camera - and a bit daunting doing it on something everyone has access to. But I was also excited to see how my processes would change to accommodate the device. I was surprised at the scope of the phone’s features and its lightness, I didn’t feel limited by it at all, we just had to get craftier with how we approached the creative.”
A handshake may seal the deal in business but it can also be used at lunchtime. To mark KFC UK & Ireland new bargain buy, Stink directing collective Traktor helmed the brand’s latest work from Mother reviving the humble handshake at the cashpoint - making business taste good!
Inside The Blind Iris, a short film by Douglas Bernardt.
Dance and film come together under a new initiative from Sadler’s Wells, which explores the collaborative process between choreographers and filmmakers.
Stink Films director Douglas Bernardt partnered with dancer Botis Seva to create the abstract short that looks at overcoming oppression while taking viewers on a journey of self-discovery.
"Working with Botis and his Far From the Norm crew was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were constantly adapting the script, our ideas and the choreography to our on-set realities and to the geography of each location. Months prior to the shoot, we began by exploring what oppression meant to us and questioned how to cultivate an environment of estrangement and discomfort. This thinking later inspired the movement and grittier style that formed the basis of the film's visual narrative. And working in this way gave us time to consider the emotional depth of the performance and think about how to unite every detail across camerawork, light and movement."

The unpredictability of falling in love is documented in Guy Gooch’s music video for Ray Laurel’s latest track ‘U Said!’. The promo sees a couple experience the throes of love through a series of scenes stitched together using rotoscoping techniques, animated by Guy himself.
Of the project, Guy says: “Ray and I first met in school, where I was blown away by their music. We’ve done loads of photoshoots over the years, and last year, a last-minute decision to make a video for ‘Unconditional’ marked the first leg of our music video journey. ‘U SAID!’ is our most ambitious film so far… There were many strings pulled and people helping to bring the whole project together.”
“Eat it” is a gut busting comedy with heartbreak and cherry pie at its core. Starring Raising Hope’s Shannon Woodward and based on the short story by John Jodzio, its about competitive eating and the things we do to fill the void when we’ve been dumped. Break ups are hard to swallow.
Where to start? It was the winter of 2021 and we moved to Nashville for a month and made a film. Looking back the reasons why aren’t totally clear but maybe thats a good thing. We had a month of scouting arcades, bowling at Donelson’s bowl and having messy drunk arguments in ’The Lipstick Lounge’ aka best lesbian karaoke bar ever. Mostly we ate, all in the name of research. Favourites were the Nashville spicy chicken, ribs by the dozen and Meat ’n’ three at Wendall’s diner. The biggest love to @roberthdyarjr, @nykallen and @shannonwoodward who were the main dinner companions.” - Katie Lambert of MrMr Films
How many times have you gone to take a photo only to realise that you can’t fit all of your subjects in? Thankfully, this problem no longer fazes iPhone users with the newly-released Ultra Wide Camera feature. To commemorate iPhone’s launch in Malaysia, Stink director Owen Trevor helmed this adorable spot for Apple .
Of the job, he said: “We shot in Malaysia, a country I had never visited before… The biggest challenge was deciding which delicious meal to eat each day. Kuala Lumpur is Foodie Heaven. The crew, agency and client were amazing, super collaborative and clever. As were the local people and actors, all of whom were very natural and patient. I was super impressed with the art and wardrobe teams particularly."
The Fridman Sisters take us on an inventive sensory experience that explores the far corners of the mind in their latest film, ‘Journey into the Imagination’ for Audible.
Of the film, they say, “ Our imagination is a powerful thing, it takes us to quirky places and endless worlds. Bringing some of them to life in this film was such an immersive experience.
It was a challenge in so many degrees, but we knew we should find the right balance between visually striking dream like scenes and relatable, warm human feelings.
The creative process was so collaborative with our friends at 72andSunny. It was a true pleasure to work with them and for a client that played this game with us and supported our ideas.”

The legendary #JaysonTatum takes a charming trip down memory lane in Dan Streit's magnetic new film ‘Only Up’ for Nike Jordan
"Jumping off Uncommon's high-energy narrative, we aimed to keep a constant flow of energy throughout colorful, surreal environments and hand-keyframed character movement. We intentionally leaned into the hyperreal character design and constant lens distortion to create an odd but pleasurable visual energy. We also sprinkled hidden details throughout the video relating to Jayson’s personal world in the hopes of creating more depth to the narrative and reward multiple viewings." - Dan
Young love is so promising, yet revealing too much too soon risks changing its course foreverCamila Zapiola heeds caution to eloping youngsters in her latest for Frontier Communications - to not share which communications provider they’re with and spare themselves any embarrassment.
“I love creating humour through juxtaposition. The key here was to have the actors playing everything as straight as possible, so that their lines read even funnier. Everything was very real for them. I was lucky to find some amazing actors for this, especially given how talented the kids were for their age.” - Camila
It’s easy to get lost in the fantasy of being a double agent when stepping into a @Mercedesbenz. @_ricardojones_ plays along with the dream, by capturing a woman scaling lasers, acrobatically avoiding the lights and skilfully rolling towards the car before realising that she has in fact invented the entire scenario in her imagination.
Of the process, Jones says: "Despite the script suggesting an action movie-feel, we leaned more toward the fashion universe, creating a dreamy atmosphere where the car and character could perform their best. We shot with anamorphic lenses to add a cinematic look to the narrative. And it was a great collaboration between Merkley+Partners, Mercedes Benz and all the talents involved." - Jones

Kumail Nanjiani , ‘Big Papa’ celebrates those chaotic little moments that add some colour to our days.
" We really enjoyed re-teaming with Tide and Saatchi (for the third time!) and loved working with Kumail Nanijani. What a trooper! Normally - we SHOOT first and EDIT later. But in this case we started in the editing room, knee deep in messy footage, crafted the story and finally went to SHOOT the missing pieces. Boom!
We’ve officially done a Tide Trilogy now! "
