Story time - I wrote this song ‘Overboard’ on my guitar some many years ago. I was living back at my mums at the time. Fast forward some years and I find myself in this beautiful studio listening to the final mix and master to complete this EP project. ‘Meraki’ was made with soul, creativity and love. I’ve truly put something of myself in this body of work. This song in particular though, I felt a natural channeling of my late uncles and father while producing it. I can hear my dad on the drums and it chokes me sometimes.
