My face says it all - feeling blessed and motivated for all the opportunities we've had recently. I can't wait to see what else is to come 💜

A special thank you to everyone that's been there when the music isn't playing. The friends at the other end of the phone. The promoters that have our backs both in and outside of the venue. The singers and MCs that have trusted me with their vocals. And the ravers I've managed to chat to in moments caught between sets. All of you make this worthwhile 🙏💜

2025 is off to a good start and we're not even out of January yet! From sweaty dancefloors to marathon studio sessions, there's lots to be thankful for already 🙏

We wanted to say a massive shout out to all our new followers - we see you! And big up everyone that's turned up to see us out and about so far 💙

We've got a backlog of amazing tracks to get sorted and plenty of other things in the pipeline to be getting on with, but where would you like to see Sarky Dubz next? And who else should we be working with?

Since it's doing the rounds, here's what I'd like to see for DNB in 2025:

Out:
- tunes that discuss the degradation of women, particularly ones that openly reference violence against them. Why anyone still plays that 💩 is beyond me (unless they like the subject matter?! 😒)
- all (normally white) male lineups or lineups with 1 (same) woman on multiple events 🚫
- discussion of the sync button 🥱
- gatekeeping
- larger labels pulling weird moves to try and keep up & comers "in their place"
- gimmicks. I love me a good pop remix, so they can stay, but anything where there's some kind of nonsense that has to be maintained only distracts from the music imo

In:
- more diverse lineups with true representation from across the scene: race, gender (identity), age, & the same on the promotions side of things
- more accessible venues in terms of physical accessibility and also ticket prices that are not exclusionary 💸
- more collaborative projects between smaller labels 🤝
- artists getting paid properly (at least their expenses), especially when they're booked at larger venues where the headliners are definitely getting some 💰
