As we rapidly approach 100,000 unique audio demo submissions, we’re sympathetic to the concerns that voice talents have about their audio being used to train AI. Last year, we updated our Terms of Service to include a specific clause to address this very real issue.

Simply put, we will NEVER use a voice actor’s recordings for the non-consensual creation of AI voices. Voquent is a technology-driven company, yet we recognise that human creativity is sacred, and its protection remains integral to the artistry of the voice over industry.

Over the years, we’ve watched competitors, agencies, platforms, and notable P2P sites trying to clone our innovations and imitate our ideas and, on that note, we actively encourage those same parties to adopt the specific terms we use (see post).

We hope that relevant parties in the voice over industry can course-correct and protect the human voice talents that have defined this industry since it began. 🎙️👑
