We met over the summer in the mighty festival of Litoranea Festival in Sicily. We started talking and exchanged on non-dancefloor music and great album that inspired us and we clicked instantly.
It led us asking her a recording for our series.
Dizzy is a Milan-based artist and food engineer from Florence on the roster of the new Tenax generation. She approached ambient & downtempo music in 2018 by creating meticulous playlists and musical selections for herself to listen while painting. When talking about her music, she refers to herself more like a selector than a DJ, with hybrid sonorities difficult to categorize into a single genre or style, but characterized by influences ranging from trip-hop, dub to synth-wave and electro. The sets are often identified by an unstoppable crescendo, plenty to explore in the winsome, melodic, laidback feeling of her selections

His origins come from a tireless quest that delves deep into the expansive sphere of electronic music, searching without constraints or genre restrictions for the perfect soundscape for every context and situation.
A vinyl enthusiast and aficionado, Sick Seek effortlessly transitions between the darkest, most psychedelic beats of techno and the most romantic, sentimental expressions of house and disco music.

This recording is an ode to Raul, his forever four-legged traveling companion who tragically passed away last week ❣️

21st sentakast has just landed 💯

was first influenced by landmark french electronic groups of the 2000s such as Justice and Daft Punk. His electronic music education took place later on in the East quarters of London where he now lives. He has nurtured a true love for the underground house and techno spending his weekends between the dance floors of Fold, Fabric and 9294, or on boat raves along the Hackney waters. Collectives such as Phonoteque or Cartulis - just to name a few - were a turning point for him, and naturally turned him into a wax passionate and an avid collector. This mix is the fruit of this journey and what he hopes to be a first step of a longer, complex and unexpected path.

On a mission...

It’s after sharing the decks for many years and refining their shared taste in music that Josh Rawl and Massaï decided to form their own collective and record label: Sentaku. The journey started with an encounter that promptly reached an equilibrium: the story of two friends representing Yin and Yang, advocating two opposing forces able to reach a sense of balance when united. Meaning “selection” in Japanese, Sentaku was born in 2016 and has since aimed to develop its own personal imprint on the electronic music world through its distinctive aesthetic. More than a musical journey, the label also promotes a visual platform to be lived as an experience, with the help of graphic designer and animator JXQ.

By building this collective, the founding duo wants to showcase the skills and productions of the new talents they encounter along their musical journey. Above all, Sentaku is a family, a creative community striving for diversity, quality and innovation.
