On a mission...

It’s after sharing the decks for many years and refining their shared taste in music that Josh Rawl and Massaï decided to form their own collective and record label: Sentaku. The journey started with an encounter that promptly reached an equilibrium: the story of two friends representing Yin and Yang, advocating two opposing forces able to reach a sense of balance when united. Meaning “selection” in Japanese, Sentaku was born in 2016 and has since aimed to develop its own personal imprint on the electronic music world through its distinctive aesthetic. More than a musical journey, the label also promotes a visual platform to be lived as an experience, with the help of graphic designer and animator JXQ.

By building this collective, the founding duo wants to showcase the skills and productions of the new talents they encounter along their musical journey. Above all, Sentaku is a family, a creative community striving for diversity, quality and innovation.
