Whenever I need some inspiration, I try to 'dance with words'.

Writing warm ups are a real thing, and they literally 'warm up' your creativity! There's plenty out there, but my favourite is picking a scenic space to sit, choosing an object, and letting my words create rich, descriptive narratives around it.

Do this, and your fingers will be dancing with your words in no time.

When I get creative blocks, I pull inspiration from different mediums. I try to broaden my perspective of thinking, by doing different forms of creativity within my day. I believe the trick is to keep motion in your ideas and not to allow your creative thoughts to become stagnant.

Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert is a book I have read several times, and it continues to inspire me.

Robyn’s POWER word for today is Resourcefulness.
Someone who is resourceful is quick thinking and inventive when a problem occurs.

When an issue arises or your vision isn’t going as planned here are 5 tips be more resourceful.

- Stay calm, and take a few breaths
- Take a step back to gain some perspective.
- Get creative and think of other possibilities to make your vision come to life.
- Communicate with those involved about your new plan of action
- Execute with confidence

Be resourceful in your day to day life. Don’t be fixed on an outcome and this will help you to be ready for any challenges that knock at your door.

Use Wabi-Sabi as a mantra when your day gets a little tough!

Here's 5 tips on cultivating a Wabi-Sabi approach to your day🖐:

1. Don't aim for perfection; there is none. Simply aim to be the best version of yourself .
2. We can't control everything. Take a couple deep breaths, and ask yourself, "what is the next right step to take?"
3. When a goal feels out of reach, remember growth is the purpose of life. Be patient. Make your progress visible.
4. Immerse yourself in nature, where you are constantly shown that imperfection is 'perfectly as it should be'.

She has chosen the word GRIT💪, where you roll up your sleeves, get in the dirt and not give up until you have reached success. The word grit embodies courage, strength, and resilience for Leah. She visualises the squirrel from Ice Age and its determination with that acorn 🐿️. And here are 5 tips on cultivating or growing your own grit: 1. Pursue your interests. Find something that fascinates you.
2. Practice, practice, practice. Get a little bit better every day.
3. Connect to a higher purpose. Ask yourself how you are helping other people.

4 types of content that sell on social media and none of them involve any money.
1️⃣ Create solutions focused content. Meaning you know what problems your audience have and you, your product or service is the thing that's going to solve them 👍.
2️⃣Tell your story. Telling your story helps you connect with your audience, builds trust and forms a network🤝.
3️⃣Social proof. Testimonials, reviews, written or videos. People always look to what others are saying or have experienced💬.

Hi I am Leah and I’m the face behind the social media management (SMM) at Fernweh Media. My first client (and still is) has a beautiful Airbnb in Franschhoek, South Africa. I actually took on her social media platforms before I became a SMM and by word of mouth have connected with other companies and individuals. I’ve started to lookafter and manage many of their social media platforms and the best parts of it all is that I absolutely love what I do. Not only do I enjoy the SMM but I feel very inspired, creative and motivated to promote my clients' passions and products online. I am fueled up by my clients' passions in their product and both parties being a believer in their product is also a criteria in me taking on a new client. The relationship I have with the client and their product is important to me and must be respected, treated with care. I need to believe in its success and am committed to making it work.
