People really should READ more. ESPECIALLY those in public office and those in the Public Service. Unfortunately they don't.

Started putting together a series of books for children to learn Samoan.
I am preparing the material as well as the illustrations. I think these will end up being full colour. The size will be either that of and A4 size book or close. I think A4 is big enough for a children's book.
Here is one of the characters I have created to illustrate the book.

Have received some inquiries from people wanting to get some work published. So hopefully Island Ink Publishing will be publishing some more books soon. So far these have been mainly non-fiction but I also have some who are working on some fiction.

The non-fiction manuscripts are already written and I am working on getting the typeset and formatted as well as edited. I'm not going to say anything about these other than that they are related to Climate Change issues. ie. very firmly in the Pacific Island Region in terms of relevance etc. Will post more about these once we get closer to completing the publication process. I'm not saying more until the author is ready to publicize the book when it is close to publication.

The fiction manuscripts are still works in progress so I cannot start any work on getting them ready until I get them. Then I will see how much editing if any is necessary etc. All I have so far are some synopses. Basically they are a mix of Romance, Mystery, Urban Fantasy and Action/Thriller all either set in the Pacific Island Region (Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and West Coast USA) and/or with protagonists and character from the Pacific Island Region or the PIR Diaspora.

I'm delighted that they are all writers from the Pacific Region or part of the Pacific Island Region diaspora.
